Dragon Age: Inquisition has gone gold

If its Gold already i'll probably go retail maybe my trusted retailer gets it a week or so earlier.

Anyone know if we can change voiceover in the european versions?

Will focus on the Arcane/History/Underworld/Nobility Knowldge perks first. Then Deft hands (locksmith) and the gathering of schematics + materials + herbs.

Combat/healing stuff can wait for later.

'It's like a revelation compared to DA2'

'Just the first area (Hinterlands/Redcliffe) already feels bigger and more interesting than all of DA2 and there's a ton of stuff to do'

I'd be more interested in comparisons of Inquisition to Origins, not DA2. I mean, DA2 is a pretty damn low bar to clear.

SHUT THE DOORS THE HYPE IS TOO MUCH

Yup.

From a few I know playing the game, the IQ is crisp (at least on PS4) and the framerate holds up well. No screen tearing either from what they can tell.

Great news, had decided on ps4 after a long contemplation period. It means inbetween my Warcraft sessions I can turn off the pc, turn up the volume and explore away on my plasma tv, it's always much better that way.

Yeah normal for me too, don't want to be too easy. However as my reflexes slow down in my old age, I might just die a few times but that's allowed.

I will be playing Easy. I play for the story and banter. The combat is just nice eye candy as I blow shit up

Now that you've put it that way, maybe easy wouldn't be a bad choice for me.

on DA2 I put it on hard and the extra waves of enemies just slowed down my time through the game, so all it did was annoy me. If I wanted a combat simulation I would torture myself with Dark Souls. I just want to see how character react to my character.

I just realized that I won't be able to play this at launch most likely. I'll be downloading this bugger for a long time if Origins doesn't have preload.

Also I'm trying hard first, then nightmare. I play for the strategy and character building. Not much interested in RPG stories usually. I just want to kill stuff tactfully, and maybe not as slow as Divinity OS.

on the fence to pre-order today been playing with the Keep and reading Wikia to get some idea of the world and lore

Is this right, you cannot romance Vivienne? :(

Yet again, the male dwarf is left without a female dwarf love interest. Sounds like the non party romances are the folks in your keep like the Templar dude.

Between that and Varric not being an option for female dwarves, I have no idea why Bioware is so insistent on not having dwarf/dwarf time.

I thought this game was supposed to have some kind of online or multiplayer component.

It's really strange Bioware have not said anything about it. If I remember correctly even Nirolak made a thread about it, and people were imagining something similar to ME3 MP.

I wonder if they cut off the MP component. Guess we'll know in a few weeks.

Anyway, I preordered this some time ago, hopefully it's as good as Origins.

I didn't think DA2 was that bad, just boring.

I have it download on my XBone and I might be able to use EA access to start it even earlier. (I will have to wait till my good woman falls asleep though)

Sadly the demo of DA2 killed any interest I had in it, I remember being so excited till I sat in utter disbelief trying the demo. Ah well not this time, vibes are much better and I'm counting down the minutes till launching my inquisition.

Preload is on the 14th. Four days in advance.

woah woah woah

i can't be a blood mage?!

It's a huge choice that makes you pretty much evil, they would have had to made a whole crazy part of the game either A) non-accessible to you B) rewrite tons and tons of dialogue to reflect that, etc.

The specializations they DO have ARE reflected by the NPCs you come across, so if you're a Templar Warrior, they'll note your abilities.

Or more or less completely ignore it, as they did before and was kinda weird.

lol I have played it about 8 times, but it does have its warts. DA: I looks like they got pretty close to combining the best of all Dragon Age's.

Probably won't look as good as it could for me, PS4 version, I'll be playing on a 32" 720p LCD. :P Well, it should look better than the PS3 version at least.

Also, any known DLC about the game yet? Like a DLC character? I hope not. DA2 and Origins had one, so just thought I'd ask.

Don't believe there's a DLC character.

There will be at least one story DLC, which is an Xbox timed exclusive.

Probably a bunch of stuff for multi.

They never specified what the timed exclusive was. I'd be more inclined to believe the multiplayer packs will be but story dlc wont. Or it all will, idk. I hope the story dlc isn't. Just makes it harder to deal with spoilers in that case.

Always same problem for me when i start to play an rpg....

Which class should i choose ?

Then i find myself playing with a warrior or thief...

But the spell effects are very good in DAI....I think i ll go with mage this time

Man I can't wait to try out the multiplayer, I was so hooked on ME3's. I hope they support it as well as they did with that, if so I'm set for awhile.

I never played any of the other dragon age titles before... is it a requirement to play the previous versions to get into this game? or is this title a completely new storyline with improved game mechanics?
