Has anyone seen any gameplay pics or footage from the desert region? I'm quite interested to see that but have only caught glimpses of it so far.

They just call that one a "hart", which is a name for a deer. Image here (linked in case someone would consider that a spoiler).

Halla's in Dragon Age have looked rather different. This isn't to say that the one in the stream couldn't be a halla, but they've always looked similar to this:

Given the number of mounts, it's hard to be sure, but I personally don't think the one in the stream is a Halla, specifically.
 
Just bought it via PSN for my PS4. First time I'm preloading a game, does anyone know when PSN preloading usually starts ?

(got a whopping 6 Mbit line here, so downloading a few days in advance would be nice)

My plan is to make an Inquisitor similar to myself for my first playthrough. Blond, blue-eyed, strong sense of justice and other good stuff. (I´m blond, blue-eyed... not sure about the rest.)

As for my second, EVIL playthrough... gonna be a dark-haired elf-chick. Easy to do evil things as a woman... for some reason. ^^ (Sweet ladies of GAF, have mercy...)

I think earlier in this thread someone mentioned that PSN preload would start next Friday, 14th.
 
Curious how much I'll be able to see in the first 6 hours with the access program

I haven't had much faith in bioware for a few years now and especially after DA2 I'm real hesitant on spending money on some of their games at this point. 6 hour trial for this should get me into a position to feel good about the writing/characters/gameplay/atmosphere I'd hope so I'm curious as hell

Go hard as an elf that only gives shits about elves. The unique dialogue options as a pissed off elf in DA:O were great.

No, PSN pre-load starts on 11/16.

The 11/14 date is for Origin's PC pre-load.

You are correct. One in the stream is a hart. The picture you linked is a halla.
 
What's the highest rated non-remaster of the year so far? Bayonetta 2 at a 91? I can DA:I coming in around there. I have a feeling the extreme length of the game is going to be an issue for some.

Not a bad idea... Elves have been suppressed and beaten under submission for a LONG time by humans and the Chantry. Would be good to have some payback!

I'm tempted to go Elf this time around purely for this reason, the political consequences would be amazing. But I think their wiry frames look a bit off, I guess we'll see.

Is there any footage of Elf mages out there?
 
I am going to have to at least sample the stream. I just need a taste. Besides, the game is a colossus. There will be plenty left to see for myself.

Anybody know if
Celene, Gaspard, or Briala
make appearances in Inquisition? I can't find anything saying they do, but I don't want to spend the entire game expecting them just to be disappointed. Although, it would be a fairly minor thing compared to the rest of the game, I assume.

It has not been confirmed but I would be SHOCKED if they didn't considering the Orlais Civil War is a major subplot.
