Dragon Age: Inquisition has gone gold

I think if you select romance Alistair and Anora on throne it will lead to Alistair becoming a drunk. Not 100% sure though.

Ah, sorry figured some stuff out while reading through everything again. So basically (for those interested) there are 3 things:

1) Who did you romance? --> Alistair.
2) What happended to Alistair? --> drunk.
3) Did the Warten remain as King Alistair's mistress? --> Warden & Alistair were not lovers. (everything else implies Alistair is king which he clearly is not --> see above!)

The last thing got me confused but I did not read the question beforehand. I only looked at the options and they were:
-Warden & Alistairs were not lovers.
-Remained Alistair's mistress.
-Didn't remain Alistair's mistress. (that is what I wanted to go with but apparently it seems it implies Alistair is king and broke up with the Warden)
-Warden is Alistair's queen.
-Remained with Grey Wardens and Grey Warden.

Yeah it looks really good. The performance seems really solid as well.

Must have watched a different stream than me. Looks bad and the FR drops often, not sure why this game seems to get a free pass in that regard when every other game is raked over the coals. Worst though is the facial animation which is too bad considering the amount of character interaction.

I am a bit confused about a decision in the keep. Maybe someone here can help shed some light on it. It regards a romance option HUGE SPOILERS:
I played a female city elf in my first playthrough and got romanced by Alistair, the sleek adonis. Don't know how that exactly happend but I guess the little girl in me always wanted to get swept off her feet. Anyway, I put queen Anora on the throne and Alistair was furious and left to become a drunk (the epilogue told me and in DA2 I heared a rumour about it too). In the romance tape thingy I only get the option to have not had a relationship with Alistair, or relationship but without becoming a drunk. Does this imply that our relationship up to the breaking up part actually never happended? (I am sounding like a little girl, right?)

in short: is romance Alistair and him becoming a drunk = no romance Alistair?

If Loghain is conscripted into the Grey Wardens and Alistair is not married to Anora, he leaves Ferelden and becomes a wandering drunkard.

I don't get the point of trying to get a fine grain understanding of game performance over a medium that compresses the video and could have lag that looks like frame drops.

Have we seen the skill trees for Reavers, Champions or Templars?

Closest thing you will get Reaver tree.

Edit: Those arts for cards is so sick :S

I agree about facial animations not being that great, but I can live with that. I think the game looks great. The art style is very good, and there are a lot of nice touches like the sky reflecting in the ice etc. The framerate seemed quite stable to me, although it's not always easy to judge that from a stream. You're free to think the game looks bad, but I think most people will find that this game looks good.

Holy shit at Devour. Am I reading that wrong, or if you're at 1/2 health it has a 1000% damage bonus and heals you to full (heals to full with Ring of Pain upgrade, but still)? On an 8 second cooldown???

I just finished an Origins run as a female human rogue, so I'm tempted to mix it up a bit. Female elven mage, most likely a knight enchanter, is how I'm currently leaning. I'm curious about the Qunari equivalent as an alternative and may play though the opening that way to see how far I can push the boundaries. So long as I can rebel against the male-domanated religious orthodoxy, have a sense of humor, and romance women it might be a fun way to go against type for the race.

Im really curious to know what Race/Class/Specialization are you guys going to play?

I was set on human mage but now i'm torn. Tempest looks really awesome. I always play mages though, maybe I should change it up? Chances are my mind won't be made up until I get to character creation.

Thanks. It feels like a DPS warrior build isn't viable anymore. Dual wielding in DA:O was awesome.

AMEN.

Dual wielding warriors were the best in Origins. I'm thinking I might break from my usual warrior build for my 1st Inquisition character and try a dual wielding rogue. I just don't care for how ninja-like they've made all the rogue abilities in Inquisition.

The Keep is overwhelming. I played a small portion of both DA:O and DA2 back when they were released but don't remember enough of the story threads to make these choices. I think I'll just go with the default world state they generate.

50% damage increase <<< ignore this , was looking at the wrong ability

Do we think Iron Bull is a reaver?

I'll probably pick champion specialization to complement him if so.

Why would you say that? Some of the intimidate/taunt like options can give damage boosts to the whole party. You want a tank like that boosting the party and attracting all the focus. Then you can make/level rogues to be a little squishier in exchange for higher damage.

This Dragon Age Keep is pretty nice. I'm trying to recreate everything as I did them originally but maybe I'll create an additional world state where everything went to shit.

What is everyone naming their character? Looks like I'm going to have to dive into some fantasy novels for suggestions.

I usually have the same few names I name all my characters in RPG's. My main character is always Hedge, and my secondary character (depending on their look/class) will be Caelum.

I like to think my main character dies horribly at the end of all his games, and is reborn into a new title every so often. Alas, what a fate. :P

Spent a little time working on finding a name for my qunari mage, looking through names and meanings for names from different western and southern Asian cultures, but in the end I just grabbed a name from a TV show, so she's Priya Adaar.

Not sure what my dwarf rogue will be named yet, but I'm thinking something Norse.

Really? I didn't know. Thanks!

Yeah, the only one I've seen confirmed is that Dorian is a necromancer, and since there are nine companions (kinda maybe spoilery-->
and maybe Hawke
) then one for each makes sense.

Conrad Verner.

Perfection. Reminds me of a quote. "At this point in my life, I'm Conrad Verner. Unskilled, unimportant, and completely obsessed with Commander Shepard."

My Inquistor will be named Silfuria the elf mage who's goal is to make wizard babies. If this game allows it she's gonna try to get Cullen. :P
