Dragon Age: Inquisition has gone gold

"co-op multiplayer"

Oh... ohhhh.... I think I need to go buy an Xbox now...

It's only six hours (and limited to the pool of people who's also got access and choose to spend their six hours doing co-op), so I'm not sure why that mode is so attractive in the early access. I mean just as you'd begin to get into your class and the levels, the early access ends. :(

Multiplayer is in every version of the game. Xbox will get the early 6 Access.

Xbox does however get the DLC/Expansion earlier than the other platforms.

Also the above posters are right, single is totally.separate from the multiplayer element.

You do know thats in the PS4 version too right? Also, you can't bring anything to your single player game. They are separate modes.

Oh, I know. I just adored the ME3 multi and can't wait to tear into the DA:I co-op and I would buy an Xbox just to get in on that early access for the multi (okay, maybe not really)

Holding off until last gen impressions.

I'm glad that it will be relaesed a few days later in Europe, so I can compare the user reviews for the PS3- and 360-version. If they are the same, I go for the 360-version. How many DVDs is it big? Two or three? And is there a mandatory install on HDD?

I'm worried how long it will take. But honestly I'll probably just start another playthrough to pass the time.

Aaryn said in this thread he thinks it's two discs: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=137709307&postcount=1730

Any word of a Black Friday sale on this? Was going to grab it day one, but launching one week before BF means I don't mind waiting to save a few bucks.

Worst case scenario it isn't on sale anywhere and I grab it from Best Buy on Saturday after BF.

Don't know if it still works, but you can buy the Mexico version on origin with a VPN trick to save $15. I think its only the PC version though.

A game being released this soon to Black Friday makes the likelihood of it getting a sale on BF is quite small.

Is there a early access on PC?

I don't want to feel like I have to pay for 6 hours just to be in even footing with others, or be pressured by friends to hurry up and get the 6hours to start MP nows.

Laidlaw has said that team is burnt out and the DLC won't be coming any time soon.

I find this refreshing in an age where season pass details are announced before the launch of the game.

Yeah. If I recall correctly, the DLC coming first was just add-on to the multiplayer section, since their entire main development team is burnt out and tired after this release.
I never buy DLC anyway, so I don't much care. But at least I'm happy knowing that they worked on it after release. It always feel like they've cut content from the main game, when an expansion is announced either before or just shortly after the game is released.

I agree, but we should have been told how long the dlc content will be XB1 exclusive for by now.

Edit: MP only? Yes! I thought it was going to be timed exclusive SP content. All is good! The MP looks fun though.

Well, that was quick. From not planning to buying it to pre ordering the deluxe edition on Origin and then reading the whole thread. Also took Friday after the release and the following week off.
I talked about it with a friend of mine and carelessly mentioned that on one of my playthroughs in DA: O I played a mage with her name but did not get very much into the game before I stopped. Under the thread of much physical pain I promised her to make either a human or elfen mage with her name for my first playthrough.

I also had the funny idea to cook myself something adequate for Inquisition, although I think that would be easier if I would do that for The Witcher 3.

Oh wow, I didn't know there was co-op in this (I only saw a few screenshots of the game and that's it).

I'm gonna need some Origin friends :(

Quick question, will the deluxe edition continue to be available post-launch, or is that a special sku for a limited time? With all the other games coming out I might wait a bit on getting this game but I still want the deluxe edition content (especially the soundtrack).
