this actually would give Trunks a reason to train (and in proxy, Goten)
Vegeta trains Cabba. Trunks gets jealous, starts training with Goten, who accepts under promises of toys and/or a willingness not to fall far below Trunks. Win-win.
Someone pointed out in reddit that if hit does fusion with cooler we will end up with Hitler.

Here's what I see happening.
Vegeta and Cabba fight in base form, Vegeta goes Super Saiyan and starts beating Cabba. Vegeta puts on an act and starts saying he'll kill Cabba and all the Saiyans in Universe 6 (maybe even say that he'll sell their planet) to push Cabba to transform. Cabba unlocks Super Saiyan and does an all out barrage on Vegeta. Vegeta comes through it fine and goes Super Saiyan Blue(Or maybe the smoke clears and he's already Blue) and then effortlessly beats Cabba. After the fight Vegeta tells Cabba that he was just trying to push him to unlock Super Saiyan and agrees to help him train after the tournament.
Vegeta still not fully recovered from his fight with Magetta is then defeated by Hit.

One of the comments saying it is just an Easter allegory. I wouldn't be surprised.

The lines of Old Vegeta might be the Andriod Saga Vegeta where his ego got the best of him.
I can see him pressing Cabba's buttons and slip up which causes him to lose. Much like Goku did in RoF.

They started doing teases a few days ago though, this is like the third one and they didn't say "Happy Easter" with this one or anything.
I hope it's not nothing, and I would much prefer it to be the announcement of the Super dub over Kai The Final Chapters. France gets it at the end of the year and Asia gets it in Summer, so hopefully we get it this year too.

If Trunks and Goten ever become relevant I think that would come with a time skip past End of Z and just explain that they matured so now they train seriously.

Champa is cute and dumb in a comedic way. Champ isn't supposed to be intimidating.
He also has personality, something Broly was sadly born without.
Broly is probably the most overrated DB character in existence. I never understood the appeal.

Reminder Broly is eternally pissed because Goku cried when they were babies.
He's almost as useless as GT is.
In the first movie, they stop him with a really shit version of the SSG ritual lmao.

If Broly was canonized he would have curb stomped Cell easily. No contest. Cell couldn't kill a half dead half powered down Gohan. SPC is way to overrated in power.
I'd realistically put Broly in between Fat Buu and SSJ 3 Goku.

That movie SUCKS, good animation though
Broly in the first movie is awesome though, Savage Brutal Maniacal and loves every minute of it. (also talks quite alot contrary to what people say)

The power scale of Broly's first movie is odd. You've got SSJ Gohan with the Cell Games design but he seems to be weaker than Goku, maybe even weaker than Vegeta and Trunks, unlike in the Cell Games. Still, Cell could slightly overpower SSJ2 Gohan at 50% of his power. Goku in the 1st Brolly movie beats him by gathering the energy of a bunch of SSJs weaker than himself and Piccolo.
In the 2nd movie, Broly is completely overpowered by three SSJ1s or at best two SSJ1s and a weakened SSJ2 (who can't even beat someone on Cell's level). Really, at best he's around Cell's level too. I don't think he ever did something to make him comparable to Cell Games Gohan.
He's not even close to fat buu and SSJ3 Goku. That's ridiculous.
At Broly's best, he's stronger than an adult SSJ1 Gohan who we know is pretty weak at that point from the lack of training. Cell would eat Broly alive and Gohan at SSJ2 wouldn't even break a sweat.

I mean, he was at least as strong as perfect cell before the tournament. The "give me your power" thing only ever really happened in the movies so we can't tell how much stronger it made Goku. Cell wasn't batting the Saiyans away like flies so we can't really gauge Broly's first appearance.
I'd guess he's probably Super Perfect Cell levels, possibly a little higher. That gets him in fat buu range. SS2 Vegeta nearly killed buu after all.
