There's a simple way to fix Trunks and Goten, GIVE THEM THEIR OWN THING! Trunks already has the sword stuff from Future Trunks, so let's get started on that already, have them become unique fighters with a specific skill, for Goten bring back the power pole, develop a fighting style with that, have them both reach SS2 and become some sort of a defense/sparring team mentored by Gohan and Piccolo. That way you can leave pure power to Goku and Vegeta, potential with Gohan, tactical to Piccolo, and skill based fighting with Trunks and Goten.

The smartest thing they could do right now is for Goku and Vegeta to belittle them two again after the tournament. This will hopefully annoy them enough to sneak into the hyperbolic time chamber for a couple of years. They come out SSJ2 and have actually physically matured.

It's not hard at all to write that in. But out of the z-warriors, I think only the main three are going to stay relevant.

So at last goku admits vegeta was fighting below par just to hide from hit. I mean why else didnt he just go SSG and wipe everyone out. If he had touched the sides and lost without turning to god i'd have been disgusted. Its probably dumb of me but I just want universe 7 to wipe out the 6 squad. Now after watching the tournament so far, its kinda interesting (but no surprising) that regardless of their gimmicks and overall power, the U6 fighters are much weaker than the Saiyan Gods, only Hit seems like a true threat for now...

Unfortunately, I believe that animation wise this will be the best we will get.

I wouldn't mind the lazy animation or the wonky drawings if the photography and fight choreography had a bit more effort.

We barely see anything that resembles what Toriyama did with his dynamic perspectives and foreshortening. They managed to make the already painfully lame 'energy charging' scenes even worse.



And in the end Vegeta will lose to Hit, just to Goku have all the attention. Again.
