I thought it was the perfect example of dragging it out. Things that they could have done:
-Gohan and Buu are even in power, a better fight.
-Buu absorbs Gotenks and Piccolo, but this time he's way stronger. Just put them at the same level. Both times it was pretty onesided.
Goku and Vegeta should have just stayed dead and not get involved.

he did get weaker when he absorbed fat kai.
Super Buu and Fat Buu are made up of the exact same components yet Super is far stronger, the reason being when Evil Buu took over he erased almost all of the good influence the fat kai had over him, allowing him to access a lot of the power he couldn't before, getting closer to Buff Buu strength.

Dragon Ball rules: if you're not a main character, you die a horrific death and you're not coming back. Yamcha, by contrast, died without so much as a lost limb. After being BLOWN UP, which later completely obliterated Chaoitzu. Yamcha's bowel control must be god-level. Or maybe the clown is just more of a man than he is.
Goten has probably trained more than Gohan in the last five years.
Sad thing is he doesn't even get that in any of the video games or GT.

Goten is just the "other half of Gotenks". I love how the only notable thing he did in the franchise, besides fusing with Trunks, is fusing with the other Trunks.
And yet he still is chump change.

How long do you think you'll have to wait for Goten to be relevant? Because I don't see it ever happening man lol. Maybe Gotenks will do some shit, I can even see Trunks doing stuff, but not Goten. I have no hope for him, my friend.

He only has the Dai-Kaioshin. South stays with the evil Buu but then somehow evaporates when they remove the Fat Buu pod, leading to Kid Buu's return after that brief appearance of the super buff Buu.

Fat Buu still existing doesn't make sense to me. Shouldn't he be just be that fat Kaioshin? Why does he still have Buu in him? Shouldn't Buu be extracted out of him? Also where the hell was buff Kaioshin when Vegito went into Buu?

I think the hate both of them get is really weird and extreme. I do think they will have some moments now that the series has started up again.

I guess fat buu is the combination fat kaioshin + everybody else that buu absorbed between becoming evil buu, just without the evil/kid buu part of his personality, that later reincarnates as uub.

Wasn't the Buu battle like less than 5 years ago? Gohan trained with the Z-sword.
Gohan at least had great moments and is coming back. When was Goten ever even good? What are his badass moments? Who did he defeat?
Gohan shoudn't waste his time.

Gokus and Vegetas current timeline sprogs were all failures. Bra is straight shit (but I think Toriyamas Alzheimers aborted her), Gohan is shit, present Trunks is so shit I wish he got killed off, Gotenks I don't care about but he's also shit.
Future Gohan and Trunks are the two greatest characters ever to grace Dragonball, that ain't changed in the last 30 years and won't change for the next 30. These kids were 100x better off with their dads dead, does that not say enough?

only other moment with any other emotional impact was this right here
still holds up as the best movie btw
Vegeta Asking Goku for revenge while dying was actually pretty emotional, same with Piccolo sacrificing himself for Gohan when he was still evil. Or even Vegeta seeing trunks dying or all the times that Goku saw krillin dying.

I'm starting to forget that she was a fighter. She's a completely different character now, and for the worst IMO. Videl feels very bland now.
That's because she's the typical house wife/mother now. Happened to chi chi and 18 too. Definitely one of the worse aspects of the whole series.

Eh. I"ll give chi chi and and Videl, but 18 pretty much has the same general personality. She's also in the same group of everyone else who doesn't really fight anymore aside from briefly attacking Beerus and the beginning of RoF.

Don't think that's even remotely controversial, Chi Chi would destroy her. Hell, Chi Chi in Super probably still has enough strength to take prime Videl.
