Hit could easily be Cell with a different mix of DNA making him up.

Maybe Frost visited Earth in one of his pretend campaigns, as did some saiyans, but the RR mosquito never got any namekians or something.

That's my theory but I also have a stronger hunch Hit is just a random villain from U6.

Well Earth was destroyed by war tho (or at least life was wiped out). I mean I guess it depends on WHEN it was destroyed, but it feels like it's always been implied it was a long time ago.

It could have been that Hit exterminated humans after creation and that's the war that wiped it out.

Was disappointed in Frost character reveal, but at same time like how they did it though. Not upset about Piccolo since he is not as strong, but had hoped his strategy would work. He always struck me as a strategy fighter instead of a brute force fighter.

Either Goku gets put back in at some point due to Frost cheating or the tournament never finishes due to Frost and possibly others trying to take the Dragon Balls.

It's funny how dumb universe 7 is and how terrible they are handling this tournament. Buu couldn't pass the entrance exam, Goku fucked up by not going full power, now Vegeta just forced Piccolo out even though he won. Beerus is going to be pissed when they lose

My prediction for the next ep is that Vegeta dominates the fight, possibly turns SSB, thus piquing Hit's interest. Against all odds, Frost still has one dirty trick up his sleeve, and is about to beat Vegeta, but Hit secretly intervenes and utterly destroys Frost. Vegeta wins, but is left wondering wth just happened.
Hit's power? Time/dimensional manipulation, much like Dio's (like that Ginyu force dude but actually good).

Long term prediction:
Vegeta wins against metalman dude;
Vegeta loses to Cabba in a spectacular match that pushes the two of them to their limits, Cabba almost awakens his SSJ form;
Monaka is revealed to be a semi-joke character, with a weird transformation/power, and easily wins against Cabba;
Hit brutally kills Monaka, tournament is stopped,Hit doesn't listen, shit hits the fan and Vados and Hit show their true colours;
Goku fights Hit, Whis fights Vados, Goku is almost killed by Hit, gets saved by Beerus, who dies;

It's the purple outer cheeks running below the eyes, and the seriousness of the character's face, I guess.

Also Toriyama/Dragon Ball faces tend to all look the same once you streamline them enough.

Cell never really looked to serious to me though, always had more mad and spectacular expressions. When I think serious faces I think Piccolo before & during Namek.

He does look a hell of a lot like the Namekian race though <_< Still much different but that's the closest

I think it's just Toriyama reusing design elements. Toriyama came up with the Namek variations for Dragonball online and one of those had a forehead identical to Hit's, and even lines on his face with a lighter area in the center - although the position of Cell's lines are closer to Hit's.

Apparently he's from a Transformers-like alien race, rather than being some robot built by someone.

I think that after the Resurrection F movie/arc, Toriyama spent his goodwill on rerun villains, so maybe Hit is a stealth Resurrection Cell arc.

This is so true. Although, it is a good idea to not reveal full strength from the beginning, you need to hide some cards. But yeah, Universe 7 is wasting fighters like tissues, haha.

Vegeta will lose, it's in his DNA but the question is to who that will be. I think little saiyan is going to totally wreck him, it's the only fight I can think of where I want Vegeta to lose. If not, hope Vegeta totally and utterly fucks every single one of them something special.

This tournament is total dogshit though, it's leading to something much bigger. My guess is it's something to do with the wish that will be made and who will make it, my guess is someone (maybe Frost) wishes to be a god of destruction and ends up killing everyone and then Goku has to save the day with a spirit bomb taking 80 episodes to get ready.

The little saiyan is an evolution of Vegeta and Goku, he surely can't be weaker then them.
