Dragon Ball Super |OT2| June 12: Judgment Day

I thought the episode names pretty much said that Vegeta loses to Cabba. Guess not since everyone is saying Cabba is going to get wiped by SSB Vegeta lol. I figured he would lose to Cabba, Goku would step in to fight and defeat him while dropping some Saiyan knowledge and encouragement, then go on to fight Hit. But I guess maybe Vegeta beats Cabba so we can have someone powerful as fuck (SSB Vegeta) get bodied by Hit to show how damn strong Hit is before having the ultimate showdown of Goku vs. Hit. Either way, I'm hyped.

Vegeta is such a scrub. Can't wait for Goku to do the same thing to him. Vegeta thinks he's actually decent and strong and Goku is like "Lol Nope I can actually go Super Saiyan Green and I've been stronger than you the whole time."

And then suddenly eyebrows:

I think Vegeta is going to have a soft spot for Cabba, since he is a kid and all. I would not at all be surprised if Cabba ends up being from the royal family in Universe 6 or whatever universe they are from, then Vegeta pushes him knowing the kid can turn and he finally does so. Very much doubt Vegeta is going to knock Cabba around as SSJ blue, don't think he would do that to someone that is suppose to be nice.

Even though Vegeta is pretty much a bitch now, at least he does not hesitate to kill and still had that instinct. You can't go from killing billions like it's nothing to not being able to kill anyone at all, the world just does not work like that.

Edit - Is Cabba a kid actually? The way Toriyama designs his characters these days and Benjamin Gotenks looking like an infant, I actually would not be surprised if Cabba ends up being a pensioner.

im with Champa thats bullshit Vegeta should had lost.

edit: destroying the barrier was low for Vegeta im surprised he got away with that

I think vegeta is just getting cabba mad for the transformation. Just helping his saiyan bro.

On one hand, maybe - Vegeta does love goading his opponents into powering up and then they proceed to beat him up.

On the other... Vegeta doesn't give a shit about other fighters, not even Goku who he refused to listen to during the match with Magetta and still refuses to work with him in general.

Magetta is overrated in this thread. Big doofy robot who hits himself and can't talk. Bring on Cabba.

Not really been fond of the show so far, especially covering the movies with way worse animation. The whole beginning to the new saga was kind of hit and miss too, but since the tournament kicked off I've really come to love it. There's still the odd awful episode due to time constraints but compared to Z I feel like it's covering ground at a decent pace and realistically, I think it's the best we could hope for when reviving something this old.

Production errors aside, the way this premise they've gone for merges both the new and old is actually pretty good IMO. I just hope in future the more humorous episodes won't also flashback/time filler episodes since it sells them short.

Imo the scary part about this is now Cabba knows super saiyan, he could potentially teach it to others on his planet and boom a planet of super saiyans.

I don't get the love for magetta, either. I thought he would be interesting until he started talking like a Pokemon.

Glad we get to see blue finally. We're too deep in the tournament for them to still be messing around.

However, if vegeta has to go blue just to be competive with a fresh ssj1, then power levels are becoming even more incomprehensible in super. Seems like he could just go ssj2 if he wanted to show cabba something more.

Cabba would have to hit Bulma for ss2 Vegeta

Going blue doesn't necessarily mean he does it because he needs to. This is Vegeta, he loves showing people his penis.

Shouldn't Vegeta still be able to mop the floor with this guy regardless of achieving the first SSJ form? Dude is like 4 steps ahead of him.

Pretty sure for the purposes of Super SSJ 2 and 3 no longer exist. It's just base - ssj - blue.

I'll bet Cabba's transformation goes something like this:

Vegeta: Look at you, wasting your saiyajin potential, I will teach you of your true merciless and painful heritage.

Cabba: I have seen the error of my naive ways *fwoosh*

Y'know, just longer.

Has this show made any references to the Android/Cell saga? Seems like this show is building it's backstory with the Freeza saga and bits of the Buu saga.
