Maybe not. Sure, they could get new earrings but they've said multiple times they don't want to fuse again. This includes their last fight with Kid Buu, and their insistence after Frieza's return that they would rather fight on their own.
It might get addressed. Toei has actually been pretty good about bringing up stuff I was sure they would forget (Trunks dealing with Dabura and Babidi for one). I hope they do, but fusion was already used as a pretty big gimmick for the Buu arc. I doubt they want to retread that too much.

The fusion mention in Bog was a nice touch. It's not mentioned in ROF specifically, just a generic "working together concept"

If those episode titles are real(shouldn't they just be half titles, not full titles?) then I hope that
them going back to the future so quick is not them going straight into the final battle and I REALLY hope it doesn't mean Trunks won't get Blue. If they are real it looks like we might end up with about 20 episodes for the arc.

Characters were suppose to be the same size & power for it to work, at least in the original series. That has since seemed to not be a thing.

I really hope that we get EoZ/GT Goku design before the end of Super.
i hope they don't go back so soon either. I want trunks to get blue soooo bad. someone on kanz said since no ssb trunks figure means no ssb trunks in the show...really hope that isn't the case

It's more resevered but it's unique, it's a look that Goku has and it's not a copy of a look from a master or shared with someone like Krillen or his kids.
It's Goku and all Goku and its a nice change of pace from all the years of Orange and for me that was enough to love it.

It was pointed out and theya re right, but I do think of End of Z Goku and GT Goku as the same design because they recreated it for the first part pretty faithfully.

Dan Dan is the shit. I love GT in spite of itself and a lot of that is due to its music game always being on point.

That's hardly relevant to my point really. That was in the past. Anyone who's watched Super can see that he at least went back and reviewed DBZ and DB considering there have been tons of details that have been referenced, a lot of them being minute ones. It's really weird to think that he's not currently aware of a huge detail like Goku and Vegeta fusing in the past.
