If Dimps is doing this Collection they don't have the source code for the GC version as Pyramid did that version. But given it appears this won't be released in Japan I doubt it's Dimps.

Budokai Tenkachi 3 on Wii had online features if you go by the box art. The net code was so poor it might as well have not existed. And yeah, not the same games here.

As a person who still owns DBZ:BT3 and loves it, the online was shit in that game. Its sad because the game is high quality imo and is still worth like $40-$60.

They aren't including Budokai 2. It's the first, and the third. They're including the first because it was well, the beginning and had arguably the most accurate portrayal of the series story. Budokai 3 is in because it's the "ultimate" refinement of that series ... if you ignore the existence of this:

Burst Limit had the most fun actual fighting but felt like an incomplete demo.

I don't know how, but Namco Bandai actually made the PS2 version look better in some of those comparison shots. Not sure why they'd post them in 16:9, it's a terrible comparison.

I'll still grab it eventually to expirence Budokais cutscenes in HD though.

The composer for many of the Dragon Ball Z games, as well as Dragon Ball Kai has been stealing music for years and recently got caught. Here's a good write up on all that went down. Every piece of the franchise he's worked on that has received a subsequent release has had his music scrubbed off.
