Then what the hell is that trailer? They also said Hyrule Warriors isn't just a reskinned Dynasty Warriors, but every bit of media released shows it to be exactly that.

I guess if they can make it more like Baldestorm or Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll then maybe it will be ok, I kind of liked those games. I just can't stand DW and its clones.

Im wating for more details before i let myself get hyped for this.. I wonder how much theyll change things up? Hoping for more RPG elements (skills, gear etc) to keeop things interesting as opposed to just a straight up zelda type reskin.
I bought DW8XL on PS4 and just couldnt eke any fun out of it, after many years i think i may finally be sick of Musou games. :-s

I only have it in me to play I've Musou game every three years before being completely burnt out.
Hyrule Warriors with its co-op and unimaginable fan service are pushing me over the fence for this opportunity. Toriyama is still a good at character designs with personality, but sorry Dragon Quest, I have failed you

There were a few riots break out in Tokyo. People were asked to stay in doors and Nintendo's VP ordered that all employees turn in their copies of DQVIII on iOS for fear of further difficulties. I'm kidding, I personally don't think they care at this point. 9 times out of 10 this wont sell like their traditional series do.
I wonder why the hell they love the Musou series so much. DW hasn't really hit it big in a long time. I realize it's a profitable genre, but to release DQ in Musou form only confuses me. The last few Musou games on PS3 weren't even that good IMO.
They had a DQ MMO, DQX, and this could possibly go unnoticed. Unless it turns out really good. I like the look of it, but I already know how DW games get after an hour or so.

I'm buying it anyway, I guess. I just need to get my PS3 repaired. The upside is that it's being released on region free systems!I love One Piece, and even I couldnt get into One Piece Pirate Warriors 2.

TBH it looks like an early PS3 game to me. But that's not taking away the fun for me.
Looks pretty good to me.
The trailer mixes CG and gameplay, the difference is quite large.

Unfortunately they don't sell well on consoles. But I imagine the PS4 will get some turn based low budget titles from Idea Factory or Compile Heart.
Omega Force usually doesn't do much to push a game's hardware to its limits. The optimal thing would be that the PS4 version would at least have either 60fps and/or better draw distance.
