DrDisrespect permanently banned from Twitch [Now Streaming on YouTube]

"He's banned and done everywhere"

There is no way this is the case. He could commit a criminal offense and still come back streaming. There is zero scenario where he is done everywhere.

The only way this could be the case is if he's about to get cancelled for something that the real world wouldn't give a shit about.

I know ManaByte ManaByte joked, but that's basically how this works these days.

Maybe he was given an opportunity to join a military spec ops team after showing his l33t skills on Twitch.

Yeah, but even in that case, he'll still be able to stream and a lot of his followers will watch him. Unless he's doing time in prison, the man will be able to stream and somebody will watch.

But I hear you. We'll see.

right now, top Just Chatting streamers are dedicating their stream to find out about Dr Disrespect

wait? I thought it's against Twitch's TOS to make a banned streamer the main focus on stream. like talking extensively about someone who was banned or showing longer clips of them.

Shroud went from 40k viewers on most days to 5k viewers last time I tuned into Mixr to watch him. And there isnt even any Mixr for him to go to.

He would probably do pretty good on Youtube streaming but if whatever he has done burns that bridge, he is really fucked. Nobody is going to your website to watch your stream.

Edit I mean maybe not "fucked" fucked. He is easily a multi millionaire most likely. But yeah, his streaming days might be done if youtube junks him.

Fucking hell. Massively disappointing. I know he has a lot of haters but he's the only streamer I've ever enjoyed watching, purely because of his OTT WWE style shit. He was entertaining and his presentation was slick.

Sounds like a fucking huge thing though, I wonder what he did.

Maybe he has struck a deal with the wwe and that's the conflict or something

Edit : nope, according to above

I don’t enjoy watching streamers of any kind but I gotta give it to the doc. He’s the most entertaining out of the bunch. His editor is mad, his streams are always full of activity and its very entertaining.
Yeah, his qulaity on twitch and YT were always top notch. I really hope it's nothing serious, but it sounds like its bad.

Sounds like 2020.

That Assassin's Creed guy got booted for the same reason.
Nah that guy stepped down to take care of his family.

And it's quite possible that was an over-reaction from him, we don't know the full story there.

Youtube wouldn't junk him over Twitch. Think about it.

They'd accept him with open arms if Twitch banned him over some TOS bs.

I cannot see a way that Youtube also carries out his ban. Like there are convicted murderers who post on Youtube and shit. And him allegedly violating Twitch TOS means nothing to Youtube and their TOS.

Time will tell.

Oh my fucking god ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

He was one of the few people who had the C O N T E N T turned up to 11. His streams and subsequent Youtube vids were tons of fun. This would be devastating quite frankly. In one of his recent streams one guy donating mentioned how much Doc's streams had meant to him and helped him get through some dark times. Doc's response couldn't have been better:

Not if the publicity of him moving to YouTube makes YouTube look bad...

Depends on what Twitch is junking him for though. Lots of things I can imagine Youtube pulling the plug on him for.

Fucking called it if true.

Imagine living in a world where you get a slap on the wrist for livestreaming from a public toilet but get permanently banned everywhere for cheating.

2020 is lit.
I mean, considering this week's trend of "news", this doesn't seem too far-fetched at all. Guess we'll find out soon enough. 🤷‍♂️

I am genuinely curious as to WTF did he do lol. He is a fucking idiot but he also was Twitch's golden boy bringing in massive revnue. They wouldnt ice him over something minor. People who think this is because of cancel culture are fucking idiots. Twitch aint gonna perma their biggest revenue stream unless someone showed up with serious receipts. He said she said would always work out in his favor because of how big he is on Twitch.

Like a streamer that big would literally have to be involved in something straight up criminal to get perma'd. And the fact that it is all so tight lipped also makes me think they dont want to talk about what may be an police investigation?

For all you know he got merc'd because he had kiddie porn but go on, tell us more about how it was because he spoke his mind about 5G causing corona virus or some stupid shit.

The victim complex on people.

Its not just about this dude. Lots of streamers that make money on Twitch barely dare to say anything controversial in fear of the ban hammer, it's pathetic.

If it wasn't apparent enough then there's no such thing as a private life anymore.

If this is how it's going to be now then I'd say about 70% of the people I've previously worked with should be fired and never allowed to work again.

RIP off-site company parties.

I'm here to tell everybody I don't fucking care.

And you don't care that I don't care.

Who the fuck cares? Some people do, but I don't.

I'm a proud APATHIST when it comes to Streaming/YouTubers.

Genuinely curious, which was the last streamer that got banned for saying something controversial?

And please dont try to pass off racist, homophobic etc shit as "controversial".

That's how it starts. As companies start getting stronger into thought policing, the youth is not going to stand by it. Maybe someone won't go to a new platform for just one streamer, but as they get harsher and ban streamer after streamer, content creator after content creator, the competing platforms will grow.
