My PS4 needs games.
That makes sense, actually. It was one of the Sony games featured in the japanese launch trailers so it might show up sooner than expected.

I really hope Driveclub releases on the 28th, but I'm not holding my breath. You'd think they would promote it like crazy if that were the case, no?
Well, we don't know shit so the perception is that it's still far from releasing, but if they "reintroduce" it in a few days it means that we're closer.

For scheduling, April-May seem great... but if it was that "soon", wouldnt they be doing previews already? There isnt much time.
Potentially Watchdogs and potentially with a PS4 bundle that was due at launch. As well as exclusive content and a marketing deal.

It is crazy to me that this and watch dogs were originally launch titles and 3 months on we still don't have solid release dates.
I think Sony will be throwing everything they have behind Destiny in September, I think they'd rather go August/October, depending on when the order is released of course.
My personal guess is May or June.

This gen seems to be full of games that get release dates only a month out. Towerfall gets announced for an early March release in late February lol. Hell we didn't even know about a PS4 Tomb Raider or Rayman game until a few months out of it releasing.
Wouldn't shock me if DriveClub received an April release date in March. Would be cool, we would get that, Final Fantasy, Watch Dogs, Child of Light, etc. in April.

this is so frustrating...would it hurt Sony to just tell us when to expect new media for this game/release date instead of the words 'soon' 'very soon' 'soonish' ... Just give us a concrete month even if its March 2015 instead of this bs...wtf!

The main game could still be released with VR support patched in later ...
Would be odd to hold up the full game just to be able to show it off with VR later on.

That date is most likely placeholder for Watch_Dogs. Ubisoft will want a couple months of marketing + pr to really get the ball rolling back on that one and I also don't think it will drop until earliest August of this year.
If you think about it, Infamous is coming in March and they have been doing press events just in February (and it's not like we know a lot about the game even now tbh).
Driveclub already got many playable demos and coverage, they're not doing it again from scratch.
I think that Driveclub and WatchDogs will be the two key PS4 releases in the April-June timeframe.

Sony closed down Studio Liverpool and shut down 12-18 months development on wipeout ps4 to put all their eggs into the driveclub basket for the console's launch (my 2 cents). They are trying to start up a fresh new racing franchise with driveclub. I think they REALLY wanted this on launch day and things backfired on them. Sony needs to pump the marketing hype into driveclub before release therefore can't see it coming out late February or even March. They have a lot riding on driveclub and just haven't started pushing it yet.
