Here's the WorkBoy. Wasn't made by Nintendo, but the only place I saw it was in NP magazine. If they could just release a cart that did all this for NDS (updated visuals/content of course) with some PDA functionality...I think this would be killer for the system.
I don't think NDS would work as a web browser or AIM/Yahoo/MSN messenger device. However, these are all things that are/should be possible with Nintendo hardware/WFC in the near future:
-online PictoChat (basically acting as a "lobby" to talk about games or set-up matches...something current WFC games lack)
-Nintendo.com browser (Nintendo would create "webpages" that could be veiwed on you NDS/Revolution) to gain access to: MyNintendo, news, WFC info/stats, Previews/Reviews, etc.
-Nintendo media center where users could download game-specific JPG's, MPG's & MP3's (screenshots, interviews, trailers, soundtracks, etc.) onto SD Cards (thus making the data interchangable between PC's, GBA's, Revolution's & NDS's)
-Game Demo/Virtual Console outlet
If there was a WorkBoy/Play-Yan/WFC Pictochat/Nintendo.com browser cartridge for the NDS...it would be nutty!
