Sony mumbles 'Something Something Last Guardian is still coming / we're hard at work / we want to talk about it but can't'
Serious outside prediction? Capcom show a teaser for Resident Evil 7 but formally announce REMake 2 AND REMake 3, both for 2016 release. (Halloween?)
REMake trilogy sold as a premium disc or 2 and 3 separately as digital release (at a slightly higher price than REMake 1). It's a big undertaking but I reckon a team contracted to do the work as a back to back double project, with some good budgeting, will be now seen to be cost effective enough to be given the greenlight
In terms of Kojimas humour and in amount of effort, I think they should hit E3 and announce they're giving P.T an update file and everyone should retry it.
Have it start the same / same corridoor but then either make subtle or large changes to how it pans out with it giving more hints as to what / how Hills will play out
Persona 5, MGSV, and Final Fantasy XV will all probably make an appearance at Sony's press conference reiterating localization release dates. Rachet & Clank, 'Horizon', and maybe even SSM's new game will get teasers. #BuildingTheList aka making miracles happen with a Valkyria Chronicles 3 localization I BELIEVE
Probably can expect a lot of surprises from Sony this year considering their devs have been hiding in a nuclear bunker for 3-4 years.
Microsoft will probably show us what the hell Scalebound actually is, plus some mysterious Rare project that may or may not be Battletoads. More Forza 6 stuff LOOK AT THIS FORD GT ITS REAR LIGHTS LOOK LIKE AN ARC REACTOR. Wonder what happened to Phantom Dust and Crackdown though.
Not sure what I even want to see from Nintendo at this point. Obviously the new Zelda and Starfox would be shown. The crack dream is obviously another Metroid or F-Zero, plus Smash Bros DLC.
Fallout 4 demo for sure and release date this year
New Silent Hills trailer at Sony conference
Gameplay for Mirror's Edge and potentially the new Mass Effect
Watch_Dogs 2 revealed at Ubisoft conference
The Division - information on the beta including sign ups and release date
Next Deus Ex reveal
Isn't it a bit early for this? Perhaps a "hope for E3" thread would be better.
Anyway, let me join the fun if the party is starting.
Nintendo will show a teaser for StarFox and Metroid (two separate games).
Sony will tease something from Japan. It could be Siren or something new.
Microsoft will not focus on Kinect but will show something that's a bit more family/kid oriented than Gears/Halo/etc. So probably some Rare platforming or adventure.
Gravity Rush 2 - I can't wait to see how far they improve and add upon the prequel. Also curious to see how the game looks and how alive the city will be if it's on PS4.
Level 5's PS4 game (confirmed for E3 debut) - They say it's going to be bigger than WKC. I haven't played any of those games, but it's nice to see another big console JRPG (good chance of it being a new IP too). It's interesting to see this being debuted at E3. I heard Ni Ni Kuni did well in the west? Could be a sequel or another collaboration game with Sony.
Probably not going to happen, but it would be cool if Arc System Works had the opportunity to announce their new fighting game IP at the conference (assuming it's ready to be announced).
Scalebound - I think this is going to be one of the biggest surprises. I'm really looking forward to seeing the first gameplay footage.
I dunno. Maybe. But in terms of cost effectiveness, remember REMake only originally launched on GC in terms of its commercial failure.
It will be a big undertaking, but done back to back them releasing for $30 each on digital channels (Steam / PSN (PS3 and PS4 players) / XBL (360 and XB1)) and a physical trilogy compilation for $60...I think the margins will be much better this time round than in 2002.
Man just looking at the lists already is going to make this one of the Big E3 in some time. I can't wait to see what we're in store. It's going to be glorious!
I think it's going to be a weak show for Nintendo if they don't have a new handheld to at least tease or a new Metroid, which, knowing them, they won't. I'm sure they'll have some new stuff, but have pretty much zero expectations for their overall showing. 3DS is slowing down, and they'd be insane to keep throwing money at new, unannounced Wii U games.
On the other hand, I think this is going to be the best E3 of the entire PS4/XB1 lifetime. Now is the time for the AAA devs who have been putting 3-5 years into their biggest blockbusters to show us what they've been working on.
Potential new stuff that I'm looking forward to:
Fallout 4
Mass Effect reveal
Gravity Rush 2 (PS4)
Once a game is properly revealed (like Zelda Wii U or FFXV) my 'online hype' for it dies as I have to actively avoid videos on a media blackout, so only new reveals or hardware gets me hyped.
Bethesda: I think we'll get Doom 4 before Fallout 4. Most of the show will be about Elder Scrolls Online on consoles, it's F2P, pls play it we spent many millions on it.
EA: still "concept trailers". Big Star Wars blow out. New NFS. Mirror's Edge isn't ready. Mass Effect remaster, because "4" isn't ready.
Ubi: good conference, some surprises people wouldn't expect. Rainbow 6 looks even better. AC: Victory and Watch Dogs 2 disappoint, Division downgrade.
Third parties will be at the big 3 (2?) conferences, apart from Deep Silver and some stuff they bought when THQ went under.
Nintendo: more details on stuff already announced, looks better than expected, especially D3rd and Zelda U, with people understanding how development actually works.
Some localisations, a surprise "bought back from the dead" game that won't sell like Bayo2 but still pleases gamers. "hey guys there is no new 3ds replacement coming pls buy one"
and reveal the 4DS in september
. No QOL because it isn't gaming related.
Also, Metroid U, SMT x FE, some remasters and some old IP revival for 2016. They also tease the new Club Nintendo via some sort of "true account" that still doesn't make everyone happy. "Please download the nintendo app on your smartphone"
Microsoft: shows gameplay for the stuff they teased before. New exclusives that don't actually cost that much. Good old exclusive timed DLC. Rockstar showing, but not exclusive, but titled as such.
PGR is back baby. "Kinect? We don't talk about this". "PC gaming is back guys! Buy an X1 to stream, woohoo! What do you say? thanks microsoft, that's right."
Also, Phil Spencer is still a great guy, and everyone agrees on that. Nice shirts as always. Weird conference as always too.
Sony: people are excited, but people are disappointed (no Crash reboot, no Parappa 3, no Ape Escape 4theplayers edition, etc). Also, some sort of FFVII shenanigans.
No talk about promised features, but coming Soony I swear.
Vita is dead, but who's surprised about that? TLG is also dead, but Sony makes as if they're still working on it.
No special exclusives, but they don't need to buy them. 3rd parties have a really nice showing, with some trailer compilations. Rockstar is there as they were for MS conf.
Uncharted for 2015, teasers for GT, God of War, and some IPs that don't sell for 2016.
I think Microsoft and Sony will go all out. Sony have loads brewing and Microsoft started a load of new studios a few years back that'll probably start bearing fruit.
I expect the price drop of $350 to become permanent by E3. Would not be surprised if Sony follows suit, considering MS starting gaining ground at that price.
Bethesda: I think we'll get Doom 4 before Fallout 4. Most of the show will be about Elder Scrolls Online on consoles, it's F2P, pls play it we spent many millions on it.
Do you really feel they'll spend good money on renting out that theater for their very first E3 conference to spend 'most of the show' talking about a game that's already been released?
That seems pessimistic to me. I would guess Spring or Summer at the latest. Last two ME games have seen later Winter or early Spring releases with no ill effect to their performance.
It's about time for a new mainline Resident Evil to be announced right?
Vanillaware seems to release a major project every 2 years. Do they announce their projects at E3 or TGS?
Shadow of the Beast trailer? or gameplay? or anything relating to it?
more info on Hellblade trailer?
more info on WiLD?
more info on everyone's gone to rapture?
Guerrilla game's?
PS home w/ morpheus? LOL

No, I think they'll tease some stuff that will make fans really happy, but that overall, it won't be about Fallout 4 (for example).
55% of a show can be "most of the show".
Edit: also, do you prefer if I say "ESO and some older game support" like this news you just posted?
Just saying that companies don't necessarily rent a theater for only new things, and that some small new game footage can be enough to make fans forget about the rest of a conference. It happened enough times in the past to not take this as a joke.
