Xbox Showcases have been like this for almost an entire decade:

• Big bombastic AAA Xbox studios games that are shown first with CGI trailers. They end up being cancelled or severely undelivering
  • Halo Infinite, Perfect Dark, Forza Motorsport 2023, Everwild, Hellblade 2, "Scalebound", "Starfield", Redfall, Crackdown 3
• Smaller games also by Xbox studios or funded by them that due to way less expectations, end up being very decent and well regarded. They don't usually success comercially, though
  • Pentiment, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, Grounded, Ninja Gaiden 4, Stalker 2, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty
• AAA games from third parties that are presented first on Xbox conference. They end up being the very best that some years have to offer, but for some reason no one ever remembers that they were shown first on Xbox E3
  • Devil May Cry V, Sekiro, Expedition 33, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Nier Automata, Elden Ring, "Cuphead"
• Whatever Forza Horizon has going on, they present their shit for a few minutes and everyone loves it
• Tons of updates on live services games (Overwatch, Diablo, TESO, Fallout 76 and a long etc.)

So yeah, as always, I'm hyped for #2 and #3. The quotation marks are because not everything fits perfectly (most do) and I don't want everyone nitpicking some of the titles

I'm hoping we get something about Elder Scrolls 6, it's been quite a while since we heard from that team.

Blood of Dawnwalker and Persona 4 Revival were both revealed last year on that same showcase so I'm kinda hoping for updates on them there.

I'm going to wait and see but for as many studios that Mircosoft owns. I feel like we would had more games by now but at the same time would or should they be holding back games for a new strong console launch next year? Xbox Series/PS5 launch windows were terrible compared to PS4/Xbox One or PS3/Xbox 360.
