I'm happy about Smash, but ultimately I expected so much more.

Smash happens to be the one Nintendo franchise I care not about.

I was here for Metroid, or maybe a surprise, and I'm left sucking my thumb right now. Terrible.

Microsoft won this one for me..

Wow that was absolute hot garbage. 30 minutes of Smash in a 45 minute presentation. Wow, definitely 100% the worst of all 3 console makers. Bwoah that was dreadful.

I told you it would end on Smash. lol

If it wasn't for Fire Emblem and X DLC I would give it an F. D- I give it.

And where is Metroid Prime 4? I need answers, why again, we get nothing.

well, they said games coming out after 2018 will be shown at a later date.. So they were mostly right with the exception of Fire Emblem.

I think this is the worst conference Ive ever seen...at some point the super smash footage was really cringe worthy...

Wow that was bad. Thinking of selling my Switch now. Literally have nothing I want to play on it in 2018 and probably 2019.

Also I've never liked Smash. Tried to get into it multiple times. Always bounced off hard. This just looks like more of the same. Emphasis on MORE.

No Metroid Prime 4
No Bayonetta 3

30 minutes of Smash which looks like it might as well just be an enhanced SSB Wii U port.

Woof.

I am not sure if the new measurement for unit of time wasted at an E3 presentation should be called "Sony Intermissions" or "Smash Changelogs"

Or maybe just call it a day with a round "SquareEnix"

Started really good and then became boring unless you are hardcore smash fan.

The mecha game they showed in the beginning looks cool, fortnight available today is awesome and the new Fire Emblem looks really really good (although 2019 too...people kept telling me this was one of their big games for this year so I shouldn't complain that the first half was bad).

Smash looks nice and I definitely didn't expect them to have all the characters but that just went on for WAAAAAY too long. Just didn't seem like the time to go into every change they did to every character. Still, if the online isn't shit as on WiiU (and I have zero confidence that it won't) I'll get it

From the big 3 I'd say this year was MS > Sony >>> Nintendo

That E3 was lack luster. Too much focus on games we knew and Smash Bros. I mean, come on. At least mention Prime 4. The beginning was good though, lots of variety there.

I was hoping for Pikmin or Animal Crossing, not a new Mario Party game. And Fire Emblem was delayed to spring 2019. That was extremely disappointing.

That made Nintendo 2015 look like Sony 2015.

I just don't understand why their output is so small for a company with so many studios, and most of them having multiple teams. It feels like for the last 8 years I've just been wondering what they're all up to.

"Heres Samus and Ridley, hmm the Metroid game? What is that"?

I really hate to say it, I'm not that big of a fan of the Xbox, but overall they won this years E3.

Credit is due.

Xbox definitely put on a good show and I'm proud to have bought an X. I have PlayStation ahead given the pure exclusives they have.

That was a total nonstarter for me. Mario Party and fire emblem were super plain and smash is another glorified port. Which I could live with if there were some great new characters and other content but daisy is a clone and bomberman is a goddamn assist trophy. The whole show was a waste of time.

have there ever been konami characters in smash before? that bomberman assist trophy made me hopeful of Simon Belmont, the last thing I wanted was Ridley but I'll live.

I thought it was ok, I feel people are being overly dramatic, or maybe I'm getting old.

If thats really it this e3 really has been super mediocre.

Like this is just barely better than EA's. Feels like another "we made a new pikmin!" All over again during the gamecube drought.

Fuck. I say microsoft won if only just barely over sony. The rest were either average or god awful.

Not a Smash fan myself, so this wasn't too interesting (although I'm excited about a fresh take on Mario Party) -- but I'm not particularly concerned. Nintendo tends to trickle out additional announcements during the remainder of E3.

I feel like Microsoft is the only one that "goes big" with E3 anymore. Maybe it's because Sony has it's own separate PlayStation event and Nintendo has Direct's throughout the year...but it's kinda lame because I think gamer enthusiasts still see E3 as the big gaming event of the year.

I wanted an Animal Crossing announcement, even if i didn't really expect it to happen, but not even a glimpse of Metroid Prime 4 is mind blowing. /sadface

Well, they specifically said 2019 titles would ba shown at a later date, so I think they will have a Direct for them in October or November.

Heres what you can do to tell Nintendo what you think
