because I spent 8 years forgetting about it . I'm pretty sure they also did it in 1999/2000 because I remember they slapped a CG pic of a madden game on the cover to PSM and said "ACTUAL PS2 Graphics"

Edit: Scratch the first sentence. Looked terrible on Stream but it's definitely not bad graphically after watching the youtube video. It's still ugly and the characters doesn't look like they belong on the field.
