Fuck co-op. That shit is not needed. You don't identify with a monster if some other bloke is controlling it.
 
I hope this one plays better than SotC. Great concept, environment, and atmosphere ruined by awful controls. I may need to just watch someone play through this to enjoy it. Excellent trailer though, even if it is just test footage.

Wondering how they will tie it into the universe. As mentioned previously, have the kid die and then the cat griffony thing turn and morph into the first colossus perhaps. Or the cat griffony thing dies and the kid unleashes the whirlwind of his wrath and creates the colossi? Fuck knows, but i would LOVE to see something that links the games in physical form somewhere.
 
I'm thinking its a co-operation game except your partner is a colossus that's somewhat difficult and unpredictable but you will fall in love with because its just too damn cute. Oh yeah and he dies at the end just to stir your shit up.

Read my last post. This shit is amazing. The true fans know how and what Ueda intends to do. Graphics are already pleasant, the visuals are striking even if early.
 
If you looked at this and didn't LOVE it...your heart is so close to DEATH. Ask yourself WHY you cannot feel the the glory...look NOT at the surface but also below....still not happy maybe when you see it LIVE?

So they finally showed this video, it's over a year old, can't wait to see what it looks like now, from what I hear, it's amazing. Wanted to post about this for so long but was asked kindly by my source not to say anything because at the time, few people had been shown the trailer.

Oh, i'm not saying there won't be other creatures. But they're going to want something that's the boys friend to be cute.

I really hope they don't change the creatures design. It's perfect as far as i'm concerned.

Well that's reassuring. To be honest though the griffon thing is growing on me each time I watch the trailer. I guess I was expecting...different from Ueda. :P

I love ICO and I love Shadow of the Colossus. So I'm not worried about the gameplay or concept. I just want them to aim at locking this bitch in at 30fps :lol

I think the creature looks really cool.

And I think it may be intentional that it's an ugly hippogryph rat. We know how good Team Ico can make characters look.This may be them going for something different. Like trying to give character to an "ugly" character.
 
After watching it again I'm pretty sure that this is what that BBC guy was talking about when he mentioned "Secret PS3 Game".
 
Might have to buy (or rent at least) a PS3 for this baby, i <3 Ico & SoTC. I dont know why the hate on the characters, the protagonist is pretty much in vein with Ico, the creature is AWESOME, im sure its going to be like Ico and SoTC where you care about your crazy bitch/horse, this team probably has the most organic animation in the industry, they had the hand pulling thing to perfection in Ico, they nailed the horse riding animation in SoTC, and the faces this creature does are very much animal like.

Wow, I'm so pumped right now. They have to show this at E3. All other games can be tossed to the side MAG, Uncharted, God of War.. This is why I bought a PS3.

Story without many words but the wiki is a good start. We could talk forever about the scenarios and intricacies. Seriously. It's very complex and part of it has to do with the players emotions and experiences. Deep.

Its all about the tone. Miyazaki was the first thing that came to mind after "its a rat bird" and "that boy has early PS2 face texture" and "Boomblox."

Its so cute, though, doesn't really look like a rat, even though it sort of is. The head and mouth throws you off the most.
