I had known all my life that Easy-E didn't write his own stuff. The way I heard it, he was a wealthy drug dealer who had the startup money needed to get the band going. I have no idea how far ghost-writing goes. Maybe it's a rabbit-hole I don't want to go down, lol.

Nah they always doing this. Thats why i never go near their thread. Just like when the guy posted the Ill Mind Of Hopsin 5 thread. Some genuine Hopsin fans wanted to discuss his new track (which was amazing) And GAF-Hop shows up with their usual ignorance. Saying Hopsins bad etc.
Anyone whos ever listened to any Hip hop know Hopsins really talented and on the same tier as Nas, Jay, Eminem etc.
GAF-Hop gave a TON of legitimate reasons why Hopsin isn't the greatest rapper on time or on the level of rappers he imitates.
It just came with a ton of trolling alongside it.

Eazy E's mentioned in a song that ice cube writes his rhymes. I thought this was common knowledge. E was the backbone of the label and didn't originally want to rap. He's got a great delivery, though, so ice cube starting writing him stuff. Ice cube is the lyrical genius of the NWA. He's responsible for mostly all of the songs along with Dre on the beat.

Yeah this has been known almost since day 1 of NWA. And Eazy E was a drug dealer who wanted to invest his drug money into a record label. That was the common theme back in the 80s, hip hop was funded by drug dealers basically before the big record labels showed interest.
Another fact that too few know about, Afrika Bambaataa was the leader of the largest gang in NYC before he became a DJ. He's been involved in more shit than the current top 10 popular rappers combined.
