why are they rebooting this?!?! the original T1 can't be topped. this is going to be shit. this is worse than the Robocop fuckup. waooo. i can't believe this.
i joked about this with my brother last week since we were talking about robocop and we just made fun of how a reboot to the series would be the worst thing ever. now it turns into reality.
is this what the 30th anniversary of T1 deserved?

well, at least Arnold is back. hopefully he doesn't phone it in like with T3.... who am i kidding. he's going to screw it up.
the old storyline was technically finished since the resistance smashes the computers eventually according to Reese in T1. they just added up a lot of extra stuff between 1984 and 2029. i guess this will end up as a off-screen victory after all.

It makes sense to reboot it. The original continuity got so screwed up that I have no clue what's what anymore.
Honestly, what I want is SF war movie, wanted it since Terminator 1 showed the glimpses of war torn future. Why they didn't take Salvation into this territory will always the thing that I can't wrap my head around.

I am ok with this news. I like her on GoT. I'm probably going to have a tough time concentrating on the dialogue cause I find myself just staring at her because she's so fine, lol.
Honestly I'm ok with them rebooting the franchise. While I did love T1 and 2 the movies began to feel a little messy to me with the constant recasting. Might as well just start fresh and sign these people up for at least three movies. I have no idea why they're casting Arnold in this again though. Just recast him with someone new...

Whoops, I though this was about the Terminator TV show which I could care less about. Ugh, this is a reboot movie? Oh well, at least Terminator 1 and 2 don't cease to exist with these other Terminator movies. However it's a shame if at some point people are only familiar with Rise of the Machines and Salvation and on. :-\

She's amazingly beautiful, and was a good pick for Daenerys. I don't know why she gets flack for her acting, as I don't think the role could be done any better ( Daenerys isn't the most interesting character to begin with as far as I am concerned ). Whether she is a versatile actress remains to be seen, though, and as such I'm interested to see how she fares as Sarah Connor.
I mean - I don't have high hopes for the new Terminator reboot ( I am a big fan of the first two, but thought that the third was garbage, Salvation was even worse, and The Sarah Connor Chronicles was mediocre at best ), but I'll see it for Clarke.

I guess if she is playing the pre-Terminator encounter Sarah then it might work, if she's supposed to be playing badass Sarah then it's a terrible piece of casting just like Lena Headey on the TV show. She just didn't have that scary side.

Well, story-wise you could argue that but the movies (Terminator and Terminator: Judgement Day) themselves "physically" exist and can be viewed and enjoyed. I can simply ignore what came after as some sort of fever dream of John Conner (they're all just a bad dream). ;-)
