holy hell this sucks, so I entered in some bad PC system reqs, and I can't get in

even though my pc has more than enough power to run the game? according the system reqs?

Also, you can use one key for more than one computer right?

Try clearing your cookies or refreshing your IP if its dynamic

What if my computer has slightly different specs than what I told them (the didn't have Opterons listed, and I will probably be upgrading my GPU soon)?

It says you only have the one chance to enter your system specs, so enter them carefully.

it is stupid too because I picked the wrong graphics card UGGH, it must be cached, because I had a friend try it on his acct.

I keep getting an error when I accpet the terms of service, must be something to do with our network here at work, ive tried it in IE and firefox, cleared cache cookies, reset security settings etc. I just hope there are some keys open when I get home in a few hours.
 
QUESTION: Can I install the game on my wife's computer and play it there as well (with the same key obviously)??? I don't know how these things work and I don't want to break the key by using it on more than one machine, if that happens.

If its the same as the last beta you can install it on as many machines as you like and use the same key. The key is tied to your game account and not the install file.

It happened to me too. I just went back and tried it a few times until it took. Their servers are probably just getting hammered.

It is what I did, well actually I used my REALLY old gamespy account, and I just made a new one.

if the system specs thing gets ya, then clear your cache
 
Thanks for the heads up...I'm in and waiting in line to download. Sigh. Did we lose a war or something? Waiting in LINE? LOL at them wanting me to pay $5/mo to get priority.
 
After a 25 minute wait, I'm getting a very respectable 600k with my wireless, so I guess it's worth it. I got a key with my wife's account too, so if I end up not needing that one, I'll give it to the less fortunate fraggers among us.
 
yaay, 1.7mb/s, too bad I'm not gonna play it with this old 6600, I'll have to wait either till tomorrow or monday :(

I'm gonna give it a shot with my wife's 3200+ and 6800GT. I'll let you guys know how well it runs...

dude, that is just in a cookie. get rid of all th cookies related to ign/fileplanet and do it over.

I just tried it with my 6600 for the hell of it, and it was still playable... actually, more playable than BF2 was, which surprised me...
