Did they whitewash storm, or is that someone else?

And halle berrie was so pretty too "/

No whitewash lol it's the lightning. Though she is still very very close to Halle though.

Also getting X-Men Evolution vibes from Magnetos armor.

looks like shit but First Class and DOFP both did as well, and ended up being probably the top 3 comic book movies.

but man...i really don't like what i see right now

I don't have too many issues with Apocalypse, but I do agree that there's a size issue involved that makes him look less imposing than he should be. Oscar Issac is a great damn actor, and Singer tends to do very well with the villains, so I'm not concerned with the actual performance.

Yeah, Psylocke is looking pretty good. Glad they decided to give her something somewhat sexy, even though the top part of her costume might be a bit overdone.

Oh, yay. Evan Peters/Quicksilver is back. Hopefully they do another scene like Days of Future Past.

no lips...?

why even do Apocalypse if you aren't going to do the lips?

That would be like doing Mr. Sinister without the black or red on his face...

I feel it took forever to get the Magneto costume right. But now it's changed again....

Oh well. I've loved the movies regardless.

It looks pretty cool but all I want to know is if he's one of his horseman or if they have done away with that concept. The whole "he can control us all" bit from the SDCC footage has me puzzled as to the direction they are going with Apoc.

Now all im going to think about is power rangers every time he's on screen. Looks terrible. What the hell were they thinking. Why.

Really unsure how i feel about Olivia munn in that roll.

She being mixed fits perfectly with the story of the character

Eh you have a funny definition of perfect. Kwannon was Japanese and Betsy swapping minds with her didn't change that. I'd be super surprised if any of that stuff was even mentioned though because it would be random as hell to drop on people.

Kid Apocalypse is the best thing that's ever come from the character outside of those cheesy lines from the animated series. Everyone should read Remnders run on X-Force.

I would also add the time he got bitched out by Dracula.

I keep forgetting Dracula is a thing in Marvel. Do you have a link to this? Last thing i read featuring the vampires is that shitty event that turned Jubilee into one.

Thus more proof that the only way Marvel can make it's villains interested is by turning them into Anti-heros.

I don't think you know what that word means.

If it wasn't for Magneto and Psylocke in that cover I'd almost believe that was supposed to be Kang.

Don't get me wrong, it looks nothing like Kang, but it looks even less like Apocalypse.

Apocalypse looks...

....yikes. :/

Out of the main X-Men villains, I feel he's definitely one that would have benefited from the CG treatment. I mean, Apocalypse looks strange and other-worldly in the comics. He's also unnaturally large. I can't see good CG breaking any kind of 'reality' on that one.
Oscar Isaac, like Michael Chiklis (referencing the Fantastic Four movie here), has wonderful acting chops- but that costume/look just makes him look fucking silly.
Ian McKellen wasn't a popular 'look' for Magneto when first images of X-Men came out ("WTF? A frail looking old dude?!? Where's the 6-pack abs and flowing white hair?!?!"). In the end he did remarkably well due to his superb acting, but Magneto also seems like a much more manageable 'human' design than Apocalypse.

I've liked X-Men, X-2, and DOFP- so I have no reason to believe I won't enjoy AoA, but damn... I'm really ready for an X-Men film reboot with a new aesthetic. I'm not a fan of the design choices in these films- and AoA appears to carry on with that trend.
