I totally agree. The quality of the battles has been consistently great since the break. I am glad Al didn't phone it in, he really did a great job with his verses, and the special guest at the end was a hilarious surprise.

He's a musical chameleon. He's seriously one of the most talented artists of the last half century. Its absolutely uncanny how he's able to nail basically every musical style he sets out to parody.

People know Tyrion but Willow is too throwback for most Youtube users I'd think. Not to mention the potential blowback from the obvious reasoning behind such a match up.

I totally disagree. The first half of the season was totally uneven. The only battles that were worth anything were Capone/Blackbeard and Picasso/Ross. Now the second half of the season since they've come back from break have almost all been bangers (save Grimes/White). If you are referring to the content since the break, I would almost agree with you.
I got pretty disappointed by this. Felt like the last ones were better

Tyrion Lannister is from Game of Thrones and Willow Ufgood is from Willow, a 1988 movie with Val Kilmer.
They're definitely great characters but I think people would just have a gut reaction to the match up. I could be wrong though.

Yeah my bad, meant since the break. And I keep forgetting about Rick/Walt. BESIDES that one, this season was on point. My favorite one is still Poe/King this season tho, and I don't see that changing either
I relistened to Poe/King last night and I think it might be the greatest battle they have ever done.

Concept for the Finale was good but the actual battle was disappointing. Poe vs. King stands atop anything else they've done and I think it's because Watsky and Zach are really well knowledgeable about the two people they were portraying.
