The beat was great but I wasn't really feeling the rhymes. Zeus VS Thor is the best one so far this season. Watched it more times than I'd care to admit

Yeah I dunno if I just have lower standards for this stuff then you guys but I love basically every one they make. I can probably count the number of ones I consider "duds" on one hand
Are there any that people consider flat out bad? Even the ones I'm not overly fond of I still find entertaining and rewatchable.
There is only one I cannot stand, and that's Genghis Khan vs. The Easter Bunny.
Oh, man. That one is awful.

Dr Suess vs Shakespeare (especially when Thing 1/2 finish it off), Miley Cyrus vs Joan of Arc and Batman vs Sherlock Holmes are all flat bad.

wut... Dr Suess vs Shakespeare is considered one of the best raps that season, and Batman vs Holmes wasn't bad at all (Robin made up for Batman's so-so lines). No comment on Miley/Joan tho

Dr. Seuss v Shakespeare and Batman v Sherlock are two of their all time bests (although I do agree that the Thing 1/2 part had poor choice of pitch).

Those two are the ones I love to rewatch the most. I don't see why you wouldn't like them, but it's ok to have different opinions.

The Dr Seuss battle is definitely up there, at least for me. Cat in the hat killed it, and no one saw Dr Seuss' second verse coming. I thought Sherlock Holmes was great in his battle, too, although I wouldn't say it was the best that season.
But yeah, Poe vs King is better than both of them

I just caught up on this season. I don't think I had seen any of them yet. Big improvement over season 3. Artists v. Turtles was especially good.
That line is too OP.
And also wrong:

Really? I quite liked that one. Had a great beat and some fantastic lines. I don't think it was their strongest of the season, but I wouldn't put it as "forgettable."
That one is one of my favorites. :<

Dr. Suess v. Shakespeare would be top tier. Would be. But they blew it with the Thing 1/Thing 2 sequence which is actually painful to listen to. I've probably listened to that one a couple dozen times, but I only ever heard the Thing 1/Thing 2 segment twice. I skip it every other time.

Not at all. And for the same reason that Jack The Ripper pales to Lecter in this newest one. The style used is great for general songs but for actual battle/diss tracks, it's awful.

You know, this one might be one of my least favorites. A lot of the rhymes felt forced, the beat wasn't that great and it just felt like a waste of what could have been a great battle.
Yeah, this one was crap. Weak beat, weak rhymes, the insults boiled down to "Ur gay" "No u."

Really like how they used a different style of beat for this one.
Gaga VS Palin yes, but I like the others. The Wright Brothers were dope as fuck and I really liked the beat in that one.
Couldn't really get into this one since I'm not American and only really know Oprah from the bees gif. Maybe I'm just culturally blind

Wow, that was the best yet. I wasn't expecting it to be any good, but that was an awesome surprise. Also Ellen won for me, because I just don't like Oprah that much. The actresses killed it though; both looked and sounded the parts.
