Well, There is a video of someone beating primevil by buff cheesing him. I bet you could do something similar with the damage reducing oils and troubador spells. Also the elemental armor you get from the dragonbots.
Also, you suck if it takes you 20-40 turns to beat any of the dragons. More like 15-25.
Anyways, I've played this game a lot, got a pile of the best katana's and shinryu swords.
The hardest dragon is the Wyrm, the easiest, the Drake. The Dragon is somewhere in between.
These parties and plans will kill them all dead.
Front Row
Protector-
5 in all the antis
10-smite
whatever else.
Landshark
Axes, double hit, cleave all maxed, max damage.
Medic
Immuzine 10
Salve II 10
Cadeceus 10
Troubador
Bravery 10
Relaxing 10
Thing that clears enemy buffs-1 (Just about needed for drake)
final and most important member
Survivalist
1st turn 1
Apollon 10
Multihit 10
Bows 10
Other things you need: Level 50 is a minimum, 60 is better. 55+ on your second go around is even better. Also, beat all the bosses and end game bosses for their best equipment. You also need to unlock the item that refills the boost gauge in one turn.
Wyrm
PROTIP:Wyrm doesn't move, so you can sneak behind him and get a free 100% preemptive strike, on that turn you can set up the boosted immunize, smite him, throw up a bravery, etc. Also, get into a fight before then and make sure your medic is boosted, if you want extra damage have boosts on your other attackers.
Antifire everyturn
bravery every turn
if bravery isn't up, 1st turn bravery. As long as bravery is up, you can't get status'd.
Boosted Immunize 1st turn and every four turns after, so make sure to reboost the medic using the item, Axcella III I believe.
Survivalist=1st turns the troubador if you need a bravery up. Otherwise, does Apollon and Multihit.
If you do this right you'll never die. Sometime you get cocky, forget to have bravery up, and then you get statused. Also, don't forget to boost your medic.
Drake is easy as shit.
Replace Antifire with Anticold
Have the troubador debuff every turn, if you get a preemptive hit then you can throw up a relaxing or bravery, or do it one turn and hope he doesn't buff. Even if he does you'll only have one wasted turn, so its not the end of the world.
everyone else do the same thing
If you have the flame axe, use it and double hit instead of whatever axe move you do, Boosted it can do a ton of damage on a double hit.
Dragon
Replace with Antibolt
Troubador debuff when needed, bravery or relaxing otherwise. I don't remember the dragon buffing all that much, but I'm pretty sure he does have one.
Everyone else, do the same.
