Cis white male protagonists.
As a latinx, I literally can't play those games without crying for forcing me to roleplay as an oppressor.

Disappearing bodies. Young me would have thought the future would be better. Can barely draw penises with bullet holes in some games.
But if you get rid of cutscenes, the game will be shorter, the studio will get less budget and all the egotistical writers and graphic artists will complain everyone is skipping seeing their work!- Unskippable cutscenes
- "Interactive" unskippable cutscenes (worse than skippable cutscenes TBH, Days Gone / Ghosts of Tsushima some examples)
- Long animations for things you do 10,000 times that are basically mini-unskippable cutscenes (Breath of the Wild, I'm looking at you)
- Any part of a game where you play as a 2nd character randomly with limited pretty much pointless gameplay (Witcher 3, Spiderman some examples)
I just want to play games as my character I build up/get skilled at and choose whether I want to actually participate in "narrative" portions.
A lot of Sony games I have a love/hate relationship w/ because they seem to be littered with much of the above. And no, forced cutscenes aren't usually "loading screens in disguise".. those are forgivable, but honestly I'd rather just have a skippable cutscene + loading screen if I choose to skip. Better games will have the start of a cutscene not skippable and then let you skip once background loading is done.. but games that just outright never let you skip cutscenes? Pretty clear it's a design choice not a technical "trick."
Basically
I think it's more the latter deal.. some really long games have forced cutscenes, or really boring / long forced walking sections. But if you get rid of cutscenes, the game will be shorter, the studio will get less budget and all the egotistical writers and graphic artists will complain everyone is skipping seeing their work!
For example I HATE it when weapons, hair or cosmetics clip through your characters clothing, as it can really ruin immersion for me.
-Forced walking
-Having to tap a button (I’m glad some games now give us the option to just hold the button)
-Unskippable cutscenes
-having to defend someone or something (which normally is just kill these waves of enemies and then we can proceed)
-Being timed
Haha.. yeah I don't get even caring that much about little graphical imperfections. What gets me riled up is people who complain about clipping like it’s a small feat to get rid of.
This thread is really just easy way to find the psychopaths.
QTEs during cutscenes.Q..T..E..
I hate crafting but for some reason I really enjoyed it in Fallout 4 Survival Mode. It some of the otherwise worthless junk throughout the world super valuable.I really dont like walking in empty spaces from point A to point B especially if im doing worthless, fetch side quests that plague most JRPGs, they are designed for padding, and waste the player time.
I also dont like mashing square 100 times quickly just so i can hold the door up in movie games.
I also dont like it when i have to grind materials to craft in games where crafting doesnt make any sense.
I always turn that shit off. Never adds anything to the gameController vibration
Most games these days.I can't play anything third person that has a decentered camera, even if by a little. I just can't.
Think you might have to recheck the definition of a psychopath? What gets me riled up is people who complain about clipping like it’s a small feat to get rid of.

Another one I can really relate to, either keep pace or meet me there!Having to follow an npc and they don't run as fast as you do so you either have to do a weird half run or keep constantly stopping so they can catch up.
Tbh I always thought I'd miss vibration but after playing games on the Switch Lite you don't even notice its missing.I always turn that shit off. Never adds anything to the game
TBH, I like it with the Dualsense tho.Tbh I always thought I'd miss vibration but after playing games on the Switch Lite you don't even notice its missing.
Yeah the haptics are nice, mainly the trigger tension because it feels like it adds something to the experience.TBH, I like it with the Dualsense tho.
Reminds me of the rocket launcher in Resi 4, literally makes boss encounters pointless but good on runs on harder difficulties I guess.I have another one. When games are so cheap with ammo on guns that make the game more fun. Forcing you to use some boring as garbage for majority of the game. Or letting you use the best weapon/power only for like the final minutes of the game.
