I have an awkward gift story

I'm opening gifts and my mom hypes up this set of gifts that go together and that I have to open everything else first. The entire family is there and watching me open stuff (grandparents and all). So I eventually get to this hyped up gift thinking, "This is gonna be awesome" because my mom hyped it up the whole time.

When I finally unwrapped the paper I saw it was a bubble machine, and not just any bubble machine either! It looked totally girly and kiddy (I'm a guy). So anyway, I didn't want to look like I didn't like it either, so I totally awkwardly tried to fake that I liked it. I'm sure everyone had a ball as they saw me, try to crack a smile as I said, "Ohhh yay... a... bubble... machine... I like it... a... lot..." with every pause included. My mom later pulled me aside and said we could return it , I could not fake liking it for the life of me. Good thing it was returned though, I returned everything it came with for about $60 and got an N64 game instead.

So an aunt I hadn't seen in months was my Secret Santa and she gave me a Wii "Fritz chess" game. She figured since I owned a Wii and I like chess I'd like it. Oh well, I'm contemplating on taking this to Walmart or something. Hehe, can't fault here on that one!

Yes... I'm horribly allergic to perfume. I get asthma in a matter of seconds when something smells a little more than shampoo. Anyway, I got a perfume from my sister for christmas a couple of years ago, and I was like "But... you know I'm allergic to perfume" and she responded "I don't think it smells that much". I threw it away to be honest :|

Also, when I turned 25, i got The Sims 2-expansion from my nephew. It was a pirated copy to boot. Note that I didn't even own the game to start with, so he sent me his original game by mail so I could install and play the expansion. I was forced to pay the postage for the original game so that he could get it back as well. Probably the worst gift ever.
