Nowadays I get an Arnold Palmer. When I was still drinking I would go for whiskey on the rocks. If I was feeling fancy a dry and dirty martini. Gin and tonic with a twist of lime was another favorite. I don't miss the being drunk anymore, but I do miss the tastes.
Usually whichever easily/quickly consumed drink is the cheapest. (Vodka shots, tequila shots, sambuca shots, jager shots, etc etc - yay for being young..).
If I'm just having a chilled night at a bar with some friends it will tend to be JD + coke, disaronno + coke or just JD on the rocks. (Occasionally vodka + apple juice).
Long Island Iced Tea, it's hard to find a good one though. Either they are way too strong and it's like drinking pure rum(Good value if you want to get wasted though) or taste like coke with too much lime in it .
Usually a series of Indian Pale Ale's followed by something sweeter like whey or lager and if I want to get hammered some tequila and maybe whisky sours.
Jack and coke. Blue Moon on tap. Or if in the area, a Davis specialty called "Wicky Wacky Woo" which they limit you to two of cuz they're pretty strong.
Ooh actually tried a IPA(never bothered before), was expecting shit but man was it good. Now if I could just remember the name instead of just the label
Beer, usually something dark. Breckenridge Vanilla Porter is a favorite.
Liqour, I'll go with a disaronno and pineapple juice (tastes like candy in a glass) or a rum and coke, preferably with a dark spiced rum like Kraken or Cap Morgan Black.
Depends on the amount of money I have. I'm a thirsty man so a night drinking whisky means a big surprise the morning after when I discover the receipts in my pocket.
But usually beer: Kasteel brune, Karmeliet, Cuvée des Trolls, sometimes Chouffe and any white beer when the weather's hot.
If the main goal is to be destroyed, brown rum or Cuba libre.
