Game of Thrones is a perfect example, cable and streaming shows are often loaded with sex and nudity, but you'll never hear a peep from an SJW over sex in Game of Thrones or Orange is The Black, but if a video game so much as has a girl in a bikini they'll riot.

Sure, I could see that if the game didn't have an M rating, but it does. So personally, I'd say if they didn't already have the required age verification on their stream, they were doing something wrong long before a still fairly clothed Asian woman started to display and reference her bikini bottom and her cleavage.

It's odd how now even game developers and critics want to enforce the garbage double standards that video games have faced when compared to movies and television for decades now. As others have said, there are far more sexualized women who are much closer to naked in many music videos.

So? Youtube also has some clowns posting porn day in and out till someone reports on them. I have seen these no-name twitch streams, and they pretty much get shut down once they get reported on. Some of these streams are so unknown to people that they can get away with sneaking in some shady stuff in there. Evo operates at a bigger stage, have many fans in live attendance, and in general have more things going for it.

The main argument as I have seen it is that we want "Video Games" to be more welcoming to women.
So a game with big ol titties bouncing around could make women feel uncomfortable. I get that.

"Video Games" is this broad medium divided up into different genres etc. So it kind of makes no sense to have this lazer focus on games that have some "fanservice". I mean, there must be people who hate horror games but we don't proclaim that "Video Games" must be more welcoming to them and start throwing shade at any game that has a bit of horror.

There is PLENTY of scope for games like DoA to exist and not have any negative impact on the industry as a whole.
