There is no option like that for Xbox One? I remember you can with Xbox 360. So when you redeemed the code through the website it just automatically downloaded to your console without doing anything else?

I've done it on the 360 but I don't know how to on the One. Not a huge deal but it would be nice. Anyone know if it can be done?

if you have your console on instant-on it should download by itself.

You can iirc. your xbox has to be on instant on mode for it to work and the box "download purchases and updates auto" has to be checked.

Alpha is about 12gb.

Their FAQ says support for 5 player parties is going to be there for the beta but not the alpha. So it seems like you're out of luck for the alpha. Going forward though it should be fine.

I like companies releasing online focused games doing large scale testing. Destiny definitely benefitted from it.
