Their FAQ says support for 5 player parties is going to be there for the beta but not the alpha. So it seems like you're out of luck for the alpha. Going forward though it should be fine.

It seems on PC you can guarantee a spot in the alpha, wich I did, but I still haven't gotten an email or anything.

Worth checking out as it only requires you to download Curse Voice client, wich you can uninstall right after.
