Exist Archive coming west this October (PSVita/PS4)

Second best bet would be Aksys I guess? They publish some obscure stuff. Love them though since they're always down with physical. I'd also take Atlus but I'd rather not pay the extra $10 lol.

To be honest, I think Aksys would be the worst choice for Europe, because it would mean a very likely Digital Only release, and I'm saying so because above many titles they have localized, just few of them got a physical treatment; I hope NIS could handle this(with a nearly certain physical distribution), but I' pretty skeptic, since they would have announced it in their lineup back in March.

EDIT. Nevermind. I guess I should just be happy it will be localized.

I hope that the simultaneous release of Zero Time Dilemma in NA/EU is a sign that at least Europeans won't have to wait. Most likely digital-only release though.
Waiting is not an issue since you can always import, the problem is if they turn down eu publishers just because they want more money like with ZTD.

Finally a localization announcement. I'm glad it's Aksys, since we'll get Japanese voices for sure. Will buy day one.

Well at least Aksys means we're very likely to get physical, considering even Aegis of Earth got a print.

Guess they even confirmed it's getting physical in the comments.

Nothing on the EU blog, comment on the US blog saying that European details are still being ironed out. That usually indicates that they're trying to get an EU publisher involved, likely for a physical release.

Yeah I saw that. Here's hoping I can get the disc for my PS4 over here.

Fingers crossed for PQube. They'll already bring Aegis of Earth and the newest Guilty Gear to Europe. Both are Aksys games in the US.

Nice! I wanted this ever since it was announced but didn't have much hope for it to be localised. Thankfully they're supporting the vita as well (I'm planning to pick this up for my vita).

odin sphere
dragon quest 7-8 (if not delayed)
persona 5 (if not delayed)
Grand Kingdom
Valkyria Chronicles Remastered
Tokyo Mirage Sessions
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II

im sure there are more I am forgetting... either way it's gonna be a great year for JRPGs

sept 6th according to amazon which is a Tuesday thus not a place holder date.

Amazing year for jrpgs fans :3

For those in Europe

Good news. From what I've seen this looks right up my alley.

Several of the past Atlus games have sold for the normal amount (Lost Dimension and Dungeon Travelers) and Odin Sphere is also normal retail price. They only really seem to add "tax" onto their biggest name games, which Exist Archive isn't bigger than something like Odin Sphere.

Don't they usually add the tax to the sega and in-house games now? I think Odin Sphere is the only recent exception.

I wouldn't mind if they fixed the heads so that they didn't look like Xbox avatars

Also, they did choose some terrible screenshots for the announcement.

Glad to hear it's coming over, and in physical form. However, I really hope it's not a full on $60.
It's always nice to save money where we can buy a lot of these JRPGs have been debuting at $60 this gen (and usually have been full price anyway.) At best it'd probably be $50 instead.
