I don't have a VR or even tried a "real" headset before however in my imagination i feel that strategy games like EU IV, total war, supreme commander and a few others would "feel" great in VR. IMO instead of having just 1 screen "cluttered" with UI you could have a main "clear" screen and you had the context menus outside of the screen.
In RTS like supreme commander it might be disadvantageous but in EU IV and total war i think it could help increase the immersion.
My opinion might be "wrong" because i have no idea how good the tracking of the controllers is.
I had PSVR pre-ordered but i cancelled it at the last minute because i felt there weren't enough games to justify $500. But, if Alien Isolation got PSVR support I'd go out and buy it in an instant.
Oh man, that could be a winner. I'll most likely play it in Cinema Mode with the biggest screen since it's the closes thing that makes First Person games somewhat VR.
Most first person perspective games do a shit job at actually being first person instead of a camera on wheels, so there one one I'd vote on would be Metroid Prime. It did a great job at actually focusing on a personal visual perspective.
After that, I don't know. Third person really doesn't interest me in VR, but maybe a visually impressive Luigi's Mansion?
Yes! Judging by how much I enjoy Wayward Sky's point and click with the Move, something like this would amazing. Plus how close you could get to looking at your characters and the field. I'd love to see a Japanese SRPG give VR a try.
