Striker took too much time to explain the basis of this new world .Ep5 was great , the vivio moments were fine , subara losing his sh*t was a nice WTF ..and the final arc was correctly done scalietti and quatro did their parts well and nanoha blasting the ship was a glorious "oh yeah " moment. (Special mention for Vita )
A's had a lots of battles , strikers didn't but that's because their plot was there to accomodate the huge cast of characters they added ..they easily doubled or tripled their cast ..
While heavily flawed , striker wasn't IMO that bad.
Animating Nanoha: Vivid would be glorious (not sure how I feel about Force). But then again, Vivid is basically the same thing as Dog Days except with even less plot. All they do is randomly have magical battles. I just couldn't stand the male lead of Dog Days (and the voice associated).
I can't wait for the Nanoha A's movie to come out

Yeah, probably. 7Th showed me a leaked promotional toy sheet that corroborates this. Looks like a playing card (or, as the nihonjin say, TORAMPU) theme and the characters could potentially be Cure Heart, Cure Spade, Cure Diamond, and Cure Club.
I never judge designs by the first leaked image because it's never official art (Smile and Heartcatch had pretty horrifying art in their leaks), but man if these Cures don't look really similar to Peach, Muse, Beat, and Egret.
If nothing else that mascot really looks like something out of Jewelpet.

Why would you hope for this to be Umakoshi when it means that we'd be getting something that isn't a Heartcatch S2???
I think there isn't a Precure OT because most of us are practical enough not to want to be constantly referred to as pedophiles and social outcasts on a forum that we frequent and the less that's known by people who wouldn't understand, the better.

I stopped watching halfway through, so I can't really comment on what happened towards the end, but the problem with Strikers wasn't that it didn't have enough battles or anything. While they added a bunch of characters, they were pretty much all terrible and boring characters who weren't the least bit engaging.
The original and As were both firmly rooted in strong, character based drama, and had characters who were really engaging and likable. The battles were really secondary to everything else going on. Strikers had no emotional core to it at all. They added a bunch of characters, but none of them felt real, and the characters from the first two series had been aged up and now felt nothing like their old selves (plus, they were also largely now boring). There was no interesting drama to be had, and the story had no emotions behind it (at least in what I saw).
It just felt like a soulless cash in on what had once been a genuine and heartwarming series.

The problem with Strikers (and Force) is that they're not even about Nanoha. The majority is about the new characters, while Nanoha stays home to be a mom. The only subplot I liked were Lutecia's Knights because their story somewhat felt like the previous villains in the first and second season.
Nanoha makes cameo appearances to kick ass, but that's mostly it.

Before another Umakoshi Precure I think I'd rather see another one that uses the Suite character designer but is actually good.

The first part you watched was an introductionnary arc ..yeah strikers isn't about nanoha but about the strikers she trained but it sorta kick off in the second part ...
Not seeing nanoha isn't a problem for me.. i want someone to kick ass , that can be fate,signum, vita or any new character all they have to do is to kick-ass while keeping the feelign of nanoha fights ..something that i feel they did properly in the second half..

I get the feeling the author wrote her characters into a corner where they're too strong to have interesting fights, so she resorted to creating new and inexperienced characters.
It's a shame, because the fights in Strikers weren't very memorable. The only good one was Zest/Agito vs Signum/Reinforce.

Yeah, it becomes about a bunch of shitty characters no one likes. And, beyond that, the setting has completely changed. Real Nanoha managed to tie the stories and the characters up in a believable world, and was able to touch on meaningful stories which were touching on real issues that these people were going through.
Strikers sends all of that out the door in favor of some crazy plot in some magical world with not a believable character in sight.
Yeah, but my biggest problem what that all of the characters she was training were boring as shit and felt generic. And 'Nanoha' herself barely even felt like the character from the first seasons.

Some of the character portraits are done by Na-Ga instead of Itaru Hinoue. Na-Ga did all of the males, Rin, Mio, and Kud. I think Na-Ga had been with Key for a while, but he got to design some of the portraits for Little Busters.
Na-Ga is definitely better than Hinoue, but they both can't do perspective. It's a shame.
Hinoue did improve from her earlier work though. It's almost weird comparing Rewrite and Clannad.

taht might be true ..for the simple reason that by the end of A'S the 3 girls are overpowered ... they even had to comeup with teh civil ranking to nerfe their power output by 2 or 3 levels so that they just don't blow shit up too easily .
You might not have seen them but i think the "numbers" were pretty good characters and antagonists ..
She still have ties to her earth friends ..i don't think her leaving the earth was such a funny move i think that given her job , it would have made everything much more difficult .
In short it was time to leave the nest ..especially given her familly background
