What are you even talking about? It's not great in either of those areas.
But Fallout 4 didn't excel at ether of those things.
If we're talking gameplay, Bloodborne has that on lockdown and also has a really cool Lovecraftian world.
Anyways, congrats Beth.
[Fallout's gameplay is better than Witcher 3's gameplay. I didnt say it had the best.
Bloodborne or MGSV had the best gameplay of the year. I am just glad that a game that plays well won over a game that put story over gameplay.
What the hell at this list. One of those games is an Adventure Game.
Thank god it wasnt Witcher 3. Gameplay won over story. Sanity prevails.
Seriously, I didn't even make it to the fucking character creation screen before something bugged out. The dialogue kept freezing on the first cutscene, and would only advance when the game was paused. Once I got to the end of it, it just flat out froze on the character creator. Happened twice so I returned it.Buggiest Game of the Year wins.

HotS seems out of place with the rest of those games.

The fuck is this lmaoooooo. Garbage post of the yearFallout 4 gameplay > Bloodborne gameplay.
"Family Game of the Year" on basically every award ceremony seems like "eh, let's give something to Nintendo" category.
Fallout 4 gameplay versus Witcher 3 gameplay is a bum fight if I ever saw one.
Been playing games since the NES, and I still don't get how people see the adventure genre when nominating games. MGSV is an adventure game?

Adventure Games have a pretty clear definition to me (and I would think most people) these days. Life is Strange, Tales from the Borderlands, Until Dawn, Kings Quest. These are all adventure games.
Game of the Year

I only had to reload saves on one of these games due to game breaking glitches. It wasn't fallout. It was the witcher

Bloodborne got robbed.
Seriously though. Fallout 4 is incredible.
I'm level 76 now and I still just love to wonder around finding random shit to do.
Just made this today.

Its amazing how its still fun to just pass the time building stuff and wandering around after how many hours I've put into it. Fantastic game. Totally deserves any GOTY award it gets.
