Cores, shaders and BIOS oh my!
So is it me or is Monster Hunter World: Iceborne underperforming in Japan? The expansion version of Iceborne dropped from the top 20 super fast and the full version that includes both already at number 8 this week without a strong start?

I might be wrong but I seem to remember the G editions of most previous flagship titles (so, 2, Tri, 4, not Generations/X or spin offs or whatever), without the option of just an expansion on top of their existing purchase even, performed stronger.

Edit: found this, the launch week of MH4 Ultimate (G). A far cry, like a million over, Iceborne's current LTD with both expansion and bundle versions of it combined. You can see the following weeks here (and they later released the Best Price version).
[3DS] Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate (Capcom, 10/11/14) – 1,446,289 (New)
I'd hope that carries on to the West to show that, even if the new marketing/platforms reeled in some new users, the game design changes just don't provide that staying power for either audience. But it'll probably do gangbusters physical & digital, meh.

Anyone think the switch will hit the 10 million mark before 2020? Not sure how big sales get around December

Good numbers for Code Vein, I really want it to succeed and become a franchise, I'm liking it a lot.

Edit: Actually damn that's some tough competition right there, Dragon Quest XI S, YS IX and Atelier Ryza, Bamco has some big balls to release it alongside 3 big JRPG franchises.

Keep in mind that the regular switch had a Limited Edition Dragon Quest design, which is why it outsold the Lite this week.

Did the Switch Lite sales go down? The OG Switch seems to be outselling it.

I wonder if it is to do with the Drift problem or a lack of stock?

The drift issue is on all platforms.

I think the poster above mentioning the Dtagon Quest edition is the main reason.

Also, the new base Switch model is just the better overall machine and has a significantly better battery than the Lite

Nice Switch numbers. And wouldn't be surprised if there isn't a Lite shortage.
