FAST Racing Neo will not have private lobbies.

Damn that kinda sucks :(

Was hoping to play alot of racing matches online with my bro. Hope they can add it in a patch at a later date

You can play with your friends they just have to be in game first which is pretty dumb. :(

And also happens in lots of other games (including those not on Nintendo platforms).

Of course, the option would have been nice, but it's hardly a deal-breaker.

Absolutely nothing... I made a mistake in OP and then some users started attacking other users for it instead of just simply correcting them and then it went on from there but not really worth it.

Is this another joke post?

Seriously?

And we still have people coming into the topic with false assumptions based on the dumpster fire title/OP.

Guys, there has been no evidence of the claim in the OP. It's all based on that image, which says nothing of the sort.

You can still play with your bro he just has to manually join you or you join on him you can't do invites.

You're still spreading conjecture for which you haven't provided proof (that youtube video you linked proved nothing either). Stop doing that.

Yes but you are forced to watch them with strangers.

Yeah, and you can't even voice chat with them while watching. All you have is stupid emoticons and lame pre-selected lines like "Wow, this is fast!" and "This player's using tilt controls!". Lazy Nintendo; always one step forward, twenty steps backwards.

No, I've understood the truth of the matter, I just found it weird people were being so negative about what they though it was. If that makes sense?

On topic: Have the micro-transactions been patched into the review copies yet?

Someone said Episodic release? They're going to release the game track by track, then the cars, then the shadows. One episode per friend only.

This whole thread now

Doesn't Martin from Shinen have an account here???

I know he has better things to do but maybe he'll be drunk, stumble into this thread and accidentally clear it all up.

Well say good bye to any sensible way to have online competitions.

First Mario Tennis Ultra Smash, now this, what's so hard about having private lobbies???

Read the thread.
And in any case, is not hard, is always about choices during development.

There are online Wii U games with private lobbies. Black Ops II was a launch title, had online voicechat, private lobbies, LAN support, multi with one player on the TV and the other on the gamepad. and the current version even allows to upload replays and screenshots from the game.

Nothing to do with online but does anyone know if this game supports one player on the TV and one on the gamepad? Most games don't even when they should so it'd be nice if this one did.

Lack of traditional lobby systems is a disappointing trend in racing games lately, between the social style titles such as SSX, NFS and the simply auto match-made pre-set rooms like Driveclub (I know it now has private lobbies, but it's unfortunately been a case of too little (what they offered is terribly barebones), too late) we have gone a a good period of time without aracde style racing game and the ones we get take some weird unwanted stances on multiplayer.

Of course we read the internet and it's a great way to get feedback for our work.
We always try to make each game as perfect and feature-filled as possible.
For online, we kept it as simple as possible, to make sure online matches will have enough players, hopefully always eight.
You always have to keep in mind, that all the gamers are in different timezones and we won't have as many players online as for example Mario Kart. A dead online mode will make nobody happy. Many options, mean less possible matches and nobody will come back to play again.
And of course we love to support the game as much as possible in the future.

Thursday cannot come soon enough. Please, carry on doing what you're doing.

ps: welcome to the boards

So no 'private' rooms at all then? (i'm assuming you're from Shinen)
