Fastest you've completely abandoned a $60 game after purchase

SFV. I play the game for like 20 mins before tun it off and never touch since :(

Not that it is a bad game or anything, it is just has absolutely nothing to do single player wise.

Did you do zero research before buying it? Game was/is super barebones, a fact that has been shouted from mountain tops.

I've never really understood why people buy fighting games for single player, but if you are looking for that then there are much better options. Street Fighter has never been a good series for that. Except maybe SFA 3.

Battlefront...

I love star wars, so I bought the game, even knowing I'm not much on multiplayer game... but I played a lot BF4 so I tried...

Well I played I think 10h more or less... then dropped it... :(

Yes I know. I bought every single street fighter and i read gaf minutely. I just didnt expect the game to be THAT barebone. I have been playing single player fighting game since FC day. It was always fine dude. I still remember Tekken day when I have to finish all main character to unlock each of its component so to havw full roster. What a day.

Anyway it sounds like my fault.

World of Warcraft for me. Lasted less than 4 hours, then I noped out.
The way the player character controls is just not compatible with me.

I've purchased plenty of games at $60 and never played them :V

unfortunately, this is the case for me as well. I've got games still shrinkwrapped...

But in terms of abandoning, the only game I can remember just NOT getting into right away was assassin's creed. The controls just felt wonky and I just found myself bored after the first hour or two, put it away and never came back.

NBA Live 2004. Popped it in, found the ice skating animations to be game-breaking. Returned it next day and used the credit towards MGS2: Substance.

i try so hard to like it but, is just a soulless game

Bought the $120 Assassins Creed 3, Liberation + Season Pass bundle... Hardly played it.

Titanfall 1

Played the beta a lot and loved it , played it to much lol
When I bought the full game I played it for a bit and then that was it 0_o

Traded it in the following day

Paper Mario: Sticker Star was a relatively recent one that I can remember not getting more than a couple hours into before bouncing off.

The Division. Played it for around one hour, fell like it was some sort of expanded army of two: shoot generic bad guys + bland borderlands loot whoreism

Quit and never come back

LA Noire but i got it this year on a sale, its currently chilling in my Steam Library with 79 mins played. I found the game very boring

Mankind Divided. Attempted to restart each day after launch because it just wasn't clicking and felt stilted. I ended up admitting that I just don't like the feel of the game at all after the third try.

Beat it in a single sitting and then traded it in the next morning. I was disappointed.

Also, only $40, but I Am Setsuna immediately revealed itself to be the most basic, mediocre RPG after 50 minutes. It's not "old school," it's just empty, boring, and not engaging. Uninstalled and regretted buying it day one ever since.
