FAT PRINCESS: 32player Medieval Hack&Slash PSN Game

I'm assuming the enemy players feed the captive princess to make her heavier, thus requiring more players to lift her lard ass to safety

oh never thought of that or read :lol

well shit. day 1 :lol

I read hack and slash and thought Diablo, Shining Soul, Crystal Chronicles DS.

Then I see this, a solely versus multiplayer game (am I right?).

Awesome title and visuals, but not the type of game I'd play.

I love this concept like a fat princess loves cake. I can only hope this becomes the new Wipeout, in that people will complain every week in the PSN threads until it comes out.

The irony is no one would be able to get over the title if this was a Wiiware game.

I'm not familiar with wii ware games. You mean they would be offended? A particular group of wii's market audience?

Do they really think 32 people will play this game online?
Are you serious? There are 32 players in this thread alone that can't wait to get down and dirty with the Fat Princess.

Have some cake from the OP, Princess Skittles:

Casual Single & Multiplayer Online/Offline Action – Cooperate with your team of medieval soldiers (up to 16 players on each side) to overthrow the opponent’s army, plunder their castle and save the princess

That didn't take long :lol

I'm sitting here giggling to myself over what sort of chatter this game could bring to the table.

"They're attacking! Who do we have on cake?"

"Stuffing now."

"They're here! Holy fuck, we're wiped. They're going for a lift!"

"No good, she's too fat! Take them down!"

If this game somehow turns out crappy, it will be the greatest injustice of all.

This game look rather intriguing.

edit:

• The Goal is to rescue back your princess from the opposing teams fort. Since the opponents has stuffed her so fat though you will need a lot of men to carry her back.

OMG. I love this.

Knowing Sony it'll be Japan and Europe only.

Or maybe Japan and US at first, then Europe after everyone else quits playing.

My hype for this just jumped ten fold with the online details... I had no idea it even had an online mode, let alone 32 players.

I just think it's very unlikely 32 people will ever be able to match up in a PSN game (besides SOCOM). Even if it is possible, after a week it will not be.

Its over 32 people just in this topic.

Wow, what a completely absurd, and yet incredible, premise for a game. Can't wait to see more. Also, the princess better make "Woooooooooooooo" sounds while you are moving her around.

I think we already have 32 people in this thread alone who will play.

Why not?

Oh man, I can't stop laughing.

This has got to have some sort fat physics to it, so when a team picks up the princess, if they get shot, she starts to roll/teeter in the direction of the player that just went down, rolls over his still warm body and continues rolling down whatever incline is in the vicinity.

Yeah, I saw that it was single-player and offline but it doesn't change that the game is more like Warcraft II where you control only one character instead of Diablo (aka hack and slash). Still, I will give it a fair chance if it has a demo.

32 people buying the game does not equal 32 people playing the game at the same time.

Besides Socom and Warhawk, most console downloadable games lose their online community quite quickly. :(

Jesus, enough with this 'concern' - it's up to 32 players, you don't always need 32 players to have fun with the game.

Stop being so negative!

No, I mean the members of gaf who don't like the Wii's design philosophy would view the game if it were on Wiiware (Nintendo's version of PSN) as being childish, or stupid, or would just be turned off because of the name. It'd basically become the next cooking mama in many gamers minds.

haha. Sony may be able to sell me on this.

I've actually always wanted an MMOlite with a viewpoint like that and a lawless wasteland to kill people in and take their stuff. After I kill someone can I take their hat?
