I see PS3 Twisted Metal but not Twisted Metal Black, which had the most amazing menu of its generation. First real menu to incorporate the power of DVD and have motion.

I'm gonna say Half-Life 2. So many others games of the time had excessively over-stylized menus that haven't aged well. Half-Life 2's minimalist menu screen holds up very well.

It was even fun just staring at the backgrounds that changed as you progressed farther in the game.

That music. Just perfect. I like the tones the menu makes when you make selections too.
