For me its desk even with console. I just find the ergonomics better with chair, than slouching on couch.

It really depends on a game. I voted desk, but that's really more for CRPGs, Strategy games, flight games (with a stick setup), FPS (KBM is a must for me), etc…

I prefer the couch for sports games, a lot of 3rd person titles with a controller, racing games (well, different sort of chair/wheel), etc…

Don't have any handhelds, but in theory I like the idea of bringing a Switch or something to some coffee shop and just hanging out there, haven't tried it but want to some time in the future

At my desk usually, either reclining in my desk chair with a gamepad/flightstick/wheel and my TV, or sitting closer at my monitor if it's a keyboard/mouse game.

Couch in the living room is nice too, but my desk chair has better back support if I'm playing longer.

Nothing beats playing games on the bed lol. Last ones I've played there were Oblivion and Titan Quest and that sure was a comfy time.

I love sitting in my chair at my desk and playing on my PC with Kb+m or PS5 Controller or sim-setup for racing or flightsim. A good chair and big desk with the right hight is the key. My consoles arent even here in my cabin where i am over the summer.
