Biggest take away is that the court of public opinion has already judged her, regardless of the FBI's inaction. In reading the thread, either side has their talking points and whether you believe it carries weight in her handling of classified information past, present and future..... whoooa boy.

The central park 5 case was trump at his worst
You can look at trumps entire history and see the racism in it. There is a reason Clinton will most likely get an even higher percentage of black voters

They are both involved in scandals centered on the improper preservation of emails, therefore they are the same! Thankfully, this fact means that those for whom email preservation is the top issue cannot vote for Trump either, so I think it will come out as a neutral impact.
I haven't seen the Central Park 5 referenced yet by the Clinton campaign - I think since most people these days aren't familiar with the case they are saving mentioning it until right before the election. Saving Trump's nastiest moment for last.

No, you don't understand - Republicans ACTUALLY EXPLICITLY SAID that the purpose of the most recent eleven hour Benghazi hearing was to try and tank her poll numbers. Ironically, it was a man named McCarthy who said that:
"And let me give you one example. Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right? But we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping. Why? Because she's un-trustable. But no one would have known any of that had happened had we not fought and made that happen."
We can't even selectively apply standards of rigor here to pretend like that wasn't the case because they explicitly said it! In the context of asking what McCarthy brought to the conservative movement!

So I guess the problem is Hilary lied about even having classified e-mails so we are to assume she or someone else deleted them? Playing devils advocate on this, she wouldn't want to keep anything longer than she had to, but still, can't believe a word that comes out of her mouth.

But keep yelling at that straw man, and pretend that Republicans haven't been doing this as an intentional political strategy for three decades. She's no more or less corrupt than any other life-long politician. They've just decided early on that if they threw enough shit at the all, low-information voters would come to the conclusion that there must be something there ("Enough false accusations = a true accusation! It's basic logic!").
If I was an American I'd have supported Sanders and I'd either not vote or reluctantly vote Hilary... but I reckon Trump will run with this, and other stuff (all her paid for speeches to big banks etc) and I think he will gain traction. Anyone thinking Clinton has it in the bag at this point is a little too optimistic I fear. We've seen how ignorant bullcrap with so little value or substance to it has lead to the Brexit vote in the UK... Any things possible quite frankly.

No. Think Law and Order. Jerry Orbackcollects the evidence and then Sam Watterson decides to press charges. FBI, Federal Prosecuters Office. They work very closely together. Both fit under the ubrella of the DoJ.
It still is being blown out of proportion if you look at the Washington Post's front page.

I doubt they use it as a talking point. What's likely to happen is surrogates in civil rights community will start to bring it up.
It doesn't really play well nationally (and unfortunately could backfire in many areas)
