You guys who think it's coming out in 2017 are living in a (final) fantasy.
June 2018 at the earliest.

What the hell is this thing going to look like in the remake?

it's only been in development since 2014 and announced less than two years ago, but yeah it feels like it. I jump at any mention of this game in these forums or news sites. It's taking a lifetime to release this project..we talking about part 1 only.
Steve Burton and Rachael Leigh Cook gonna eat, sonnnnnnnn!
i say augest to september i think kh3 might march 2018You guys who think it's coming out in 2017 are living in a (final) fantasy.

I hope they replace Mena Suvari she is terrible.
I don't think this really means anything. Remember when Goofy's VA said KH 3 is coming out in 2015 because he already finished his voice recordings for the game?

They said he's likely to get a new VA (here).I'm wondering whether or not Red XIII will get a new VA. He only had one line in AC but sounded really old. In VII he's 48 years old (which is a teenager in human years) so the older voice he has might not match. Then again he's not a human so the voice thing could be completely different for his species.
First part could easily be Midgar and the surroundings outside region. Hell they could end part one after Clouds Flashback in Kalm
Ugh, ending part one with the Kalm flashback would be the most anticlimactic way to end it ever...
Im assuming that this is a 40 hour midgar game.
Good didn't like his sound (or his look) in AC. Way too grizzled/old looking. He's just a pup!
I'm thinking part 1 being all the way up to getting out of Midgar prior to the world map as being pretty cool
Hopefully that's what we get
We need to see what Tifa looks like as well!
Oh, man, I didn't realize The Lifestream.net was around. I remember all the brutal forum arguments with Tifa vs. Aeris back in the day. I can no stress how much I'm not looking forward to all of that coming up again with the remake in all online discussion forums. The Yennefer vs Triss wars have been so much fun in their place, sigh.
I'm still quite wary about how many games the remake will be broken into. Hopefully they will announce it with the eventual release date.
Oh god the love triangle debate!! It's actually still going strong unfortunately. And it's utterly bonkers. In a few FF related communities I'm in it comes up alarmingly often. So yeah, it's not going to be fun.
I hope Cloud dies and Aerti becomes canon instead.
No it won't. They've already said it won't, which is a big part of the reason why this is not a single release. This game will be some sort of linear "chapter-based" FF.
I assumed SE were specifically referring to the Japanese track but apparently Steve Burton had done stuff for Cloud "a few months ago".
Obviously I definitely think the Japanese track is further along than the dub but figured it was worth posting. Small chance he's not talking about the remake either, I guess.
Just watched Max video about FF7R news, is it true that Noruma had a trailer ready for last week?

Awesome. Dude's voice for Cloud is ripped right out of another reality where all that shit's real. It's that good.
OOoooo yay! Could be for something else though. Dissidia maybe?
In his younger years, Steve even looked like Cloud.

Kalm goes really well with the end of Shin-Ra HQ, and optimally, they probably shouldn't be separated. All the ominous horror and mystery from Shin-ra HQ carries well into the intrigue of the Kalm flashbacks. So would ending it right after you escape Midgar imo.
I'm guessing that's for Mobius Final Fantasy.

I want this as dlc then.
