Anways, Rowling said that Hermione and Harry shared some charged moments that could have altered their relationship but they didn't go any further then that. I think it was probably for the best. Lets face it if it wasn't Emma Watson playing Hermione, people wouldn't be so upset abou the Ron and Hermione pairing. Besides for some reason Ron and Hermione just make sense from the perspective of trying to balance everything out.

I don't think Emma Watson was good at being Hermione outside of the first two movies and I still wanted Harry/Hermione to happen. All the couples were wrong to me. Harry suddenly had interest in Ginny even though she was absent for most of the books and I can't see Hermione and Ron lasting very long out of high school Hogwarts. They came off as more brother/sister like than Harry and Hermione did. It was odd when they got together and were still together in the epilogue.

Yeah, she did have buckteeth up until the fourth book and her hair was supposed to be more bushy and unmanageable than what was shown in the movies.

I dunno, I feel like Harry's only contribution was that he was Harry Potter. Hermione brought super awesome skills and knowledge to the table, and Ron was the laughable sidekick who should have died to spurn the hero, namely Hermione, into a fit of rage so she could kick but and take names.

In this "edgy" and "visceral" and "dark" and "mature" Harry Potter universe, Grindlewald actually matters to the story, too, as opposed to being introduced posthumously for no real reason at all.
