Priority will be given to members of the last league who did not bail on us. After that based on order of sign-up if you are new. Then prisoners. Then dictators. Then people who bailed on us.

If two people sign up for the same team and have the same priority, they'll have a playoff to decide who gets the team. Then the loser will be shuffled off to some crappy team even mls fans don't like like Colorado. League will not be finalized until we've decided all teams by next week.

Instead of going with LeagueDaddy, we're going to run the league through the page itself. People will post results and stats there and there will be all sorts of hilarious but gentle ribbing. Probably two games a week and it will be a simple table format w/o playoffs. You'll be asked to write down a few stats like goal scorers and shots.

If you are new don't sign up unless you are fine with actively scheduling and playing a couple games a week and not waiting until the last fucking minute to do everything or requiring of us to chase you down like you're a four-year old who hasn't done his chores.

our last fifa league had 12 games total (6 weeks) then 2 weeks of playoffs.

we won't know how many weeks this is yet because it will depend on the number of teams

Hour and a half or so. The commitment isn't so much in spending hours and hours playing through games, it is more in actually getting in touch with your opponents and getting your games played quickly and just generally being active in the league.

the games aren't an hour and half.

each game is about 15 minutes. and then maybe another 5 minutes for recording the score and goal scorers.

the only tricky part is scheduling the games (two per week). we also want people to actively participate in the official thread

people were all playing fallout, fable, gears, etc. i guess all we have to worry about now is RE5 and SF4

What's the situation with the roster update? None of the MLS teams are set at the moment, and I'm not sure if I want to play with the 2008 Slowquakes. (Cuz Cochrane and Garcia are just getting faster as the years go by, eh?)

...If I lose, I think I'm going to be Fake Salt Lake, there's no way they have any fans on GAF, and they're actually a little bit good. Or maybe Houston, since I appreciate their style of soccer. Or maybe the Fire, but I think that having one member of the league intentionally losing every game might mess things up.

Yep. Last time there were EU & US conferences, though I guess that depends on how many EU players sign up as there doesn't seem to be many yet.

yeah euros are welcome as long as you're comfortable playing with mostly ameros and their amero timezones. we will either do one table or two conferences but there won't be a euro conference it will just be based on mls likely
