The only odd one out IMO is Final Round; they explained pretty clearly why they are doing way less seeding for Evo this year. Seasons Beatings is MIA at the moment since it's apparently getting rolled up into this Fall Classic or whatever, and with a very limited number of tournaments getting seeding I don't think Winter Brawl would make the cut. Final Round sticks out, but it's hard to say if the guys at Evo are being dicks, or maybe the east coast TO's are being uncooperative in part because of this Fall Classic, or maybe a combination of both. Honestly after following the FGC for a few years now enough people in the scene come off as kind of dicks so I guess I don't really care either way personally.

I'm confused, I thought Larry declined having Final Round be an Evo qualifier. So why is it evo's fault? Same with Big E.

I had a really good feeling TriForce would get some followers for his insane tirade against the West Coast. It's really worth noting that EVO didn't even have qualifiers until they introduced it in 2011. I agree, it sucks that the NE is getting a fair shake to provide qualifying points, but can we be honest? Sponsored top players are going to scoop those points up. Players from all over.

WCW3 despite it's problems was one of my favorite tournaments ever. If you weren't there for the event, you only got half of the picture.
 
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't evo negotiate their hotel deal years in advance ? I think it was on Dogface show that Wiz said at the time they were negotiating for a couple years in advance.

On the reveal show Wizard said they offered Final Round seeding points and got turned down.

That kind of thing was specifically quoted as a problem and why they are only doing a limited number of seeding events this time; waaay too many people got seed points last year and seeded players were having to play each other even within the same bracket in pools of a game; that definitely shouldn't happen.

I think the conspiracy is that Larry didn't like what happened with the Northeast and he told EVO to go eff themselves. Therefore Larry, Big E, and Joe are coming together to form Voltron(aka Fall Classic). That's what I've put together from this Triforce rant, don't take any of this seriously because nothing is known.
 
I was a little shocked that neither winter brawl nor ect were going to be road to evo events. That seemed like they were intentionally going out of their way to ignore the north east.
