Seems like an interesting discussion's going on in here regarding Chris G. I was always on board with his play because he more than anyone else playing the game, had been putting in quite a lot of R&D into his game plans, from the most obvious in team picks and counter picks to the more technical with his approaches and specific patterns he does during a match. MorriDoom was born out of sheer luck (literally, IIRC, it just happened randomly at a Big Two final when he went all random pick and he stuck with it) and him noticing that not only aren't people playing that match up correctly, they were determined to "prove" that Marvel is a game where all they had to do was "push more buttons" to shut down that "scrubby shit". Problem is, the guy is pretty damn good at adapting, Sudoku Watches and all. That drive is probably the reason why his MorriDoom is the gatekeeper and people are still struggling to reach competency against it. They derided it too long thinking "I'll just power through it" and now they have a monster they can't do away with, especially since Morrigan is one of I'd say 10 characters in the roster whose theoretical apex will force a good change in the way people think of this game. Imagine when Chris learns/starts executing more Soul Drain setups...
