Reunited and it feels so good

If you missed the Daigo vs. Justin match the first time around, the EVO 2004 DVD is currently on loop, that match is after the Raoh vs. Justin one, which is currently showing. If you're waiting for the "EVO moment," it's at the end of the last round of the first game.

I really liked SF2 Sagat's voice, it fits what his character looked like back then compared to the bulky versions of him from Alpha to modern day.

SF2 Guile, on the other hand...

lol. Didn't SF2 literally have random damage?

Yes. It also had a crazy throw break, where throws do full damage and then reimburses half, if the character had enough health to survive a full damage throw.

edit: I keep getting Magic the Gathering and DoA banners on neogaf. Feels bad.
edit2: I see Mago is keeping Hulk Hogan's theme for his stay.

Whoa, Revelations finally announced some details on there upcoming tournament. One things for sure, they're not short on money. A total pay out of $50,000 will be on the line. Last year SF4 got way more money then any other game, but I expect more balance this year. Marvel and SF4 will probably get 10k each while the others get 2.5k to 5k each. Anyways, this tournament will be providing the next highest pay outs for fighting games after EVO so hopefully that will be enticing enough to draw out international players like it did last year when Daigo, Sako, Mago, Infiltration, and Laugh came out.

i think this might be the first major i go to. hopefully i can improve more by then so i can do pretty well. LA has a ton of killers so it will be tough.

Can someone explain to me why TL has such a bad rep? I understand that many were unhappy about them holding Revelations at the same time as CEO last year, and that there were issues with how Revelations ran last year, but I am not seeing anything that make them out to be the Planet Zero of California that some are treating them to be.

Is Mago going to be forever 2nd place now. I guess he has one more crack at it next week unless they're not going to run WNF next week. Mago and Jayce did play a lot of casuals. Both were streaking against each other back and forth. In the end Mago won a majority of the matches(about two-thirds I think), but Jayce won it when it mattered. Viper is just a nightmare for Mago.

Been enjoying the past evo vids on the Evo2012 stream. Well anything non-mvc2. Never was a fan of how the tech panned out on it.
